Nintendo Switch Previews are coming in

Idk where else to put this

Trying to add fund to the eshop before next week and I just wanted to express that their online eshop is okay, aside from the fucking fact that you cannot add eshop credit without an actual console. Oh and before you say "eloquent, here's the link to redeem your code" please note that the site you are actually linking me is ONLY for fucking game downloadable codes. They have no portal to add funds via gift cards to your account. The only way I could see if there's an option is if your wallet is empty and at checkout they offer to let you redeem your code but I can't do that now since I already loaded all the money via my 3DS. It's stupid and clunky and archaic. Fix it before Friday Nintendo.

The eshop is lucky it has good games in it cause I can't stand it, especially on the Wii U. Heaven help you if you want to redownload a game. Or buy more than one game at once. Or check out the miiverse of that game. Even downloading a demo is like 3 button presses too long, which I only count because they each preceed a 2-5 second loading screen. Gotta love the music though.

When I would want to use an extra charger, can I simply connect an USB to USB type C cable to any apple charger or would I need something with a specific energy rating?

Question:

I don't want to buy 1 - 2 switch, but i'm really curious about the HD rumble.
What cheap alternative do i have to test the HD rumble? I already ordered zelda for switch.

I believe Fast RMX will utilize the HD rumble feature, and it's $20 USD. Launch, too, I think.

I have a feeling anyone wanting to download Zelda day-one is going to be met with incredibly slow downloads, or maybe just straight up errors. I'm getting it retail even though I have a 200GB SD card I'm going to be using for digital purchases. I just don't have faith that Nintendo will have the infrastructure in place to handle everyone rushing to download it.

Thanks to the sleep function and the fact that switch games are cartridge based you can jump into a Zelda game within 10 seconds from passing the power button. It's really incredible, a gamer's dream!

it's great for Zelda but most importantly games like MK8D & Splatoon are going to really benefit from having such a quick boot in time

pick up the device, in a multiplayer match in no time

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
I have a question that I'm not sure has been covered in any of the previews:

Can you have the joy cons attached and play with another set of joy cons? For instance, if I just want to leave the ones that came with the hardware on at all times, but I want to play a two player game and use an extra set that I have.

I was making a spread sheet of games I will be buying between launch and the end of May and there is definitely enough software to keep my gaming on Switch up until E3, and thats only counting games we know about now. Looking forward to see whatever Nintendo sneaks in there after this week's indie news.

Is ARMS on your list?

Jus how portable Switch is?
http://press-start.com.au/features/2017/02/27/just-portable-nintendo-switch/

Sitting at the cafe, I was able to put my Nintendo Switch into tabletop mode and could comfortably use my JoyCons separately in order to continue playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It was at this moment that I knew that this thing could be played just about anywhere.
My favourite thing about the Nintendo Switch so far is just how quickly you can power up out of sleep mode. I feel more inclined to take my Nintendo Switch out and about due to the fact that if I can get even an extra 10-15 minutes of extra game time, it’s worth it

This is me next week.

Can you use the Joycon while its charging? I do i have to plug it in and stop playing when i run out of battery?
It has a 20 hour battery life. The USB c slot is in the tablet. The tablet charges the joycons so if you want to do a 24 hour marathon you will need to undock at some point. Failing that you won't need to play with the joycons plugged in.

In addition to Fast RMX, Snipperclips apparently use HD rumble when the pieces are cut. Snipperclips will have a demo on the eShop.

I thought the first-gen models didn't include USB-C? Or did that change?

Soundslike

Im kinda hoping for a 1 2 switch demo with 3 games from it.

A mom trying quick draw at best buy and the sales person can say that she get that game for free.

Or, buy a Charge Grip and then you can plug that in and play while it's charging the JoyCons.
