Jon makes me so sad/mad/frustrated. He has legitimate comedic talent--but he's just so fucking hateful and, let's be frank, stupid that I can't in good conscience support his work. Like I can't believe some of the stuff in the OP. "Jon actually said that? That's what he truly believes?" No wonder he and Arin parted ways. I know the official story is something different, but I don't believe for one second that a difference in political views wasn't a factor. At least, I hope it was, anyway.

Well technically that argument is flawed because Black people were a very important part of the founding foundations and structure of the country. So I would think that the David Dukes would at least include Black people in their nationalism and remove everyone else to be consistent.

If you're looking at the debate in isolation, he demolishes Jon. Jon's "magic trick" misdirection was so obvious it hurt, and I'll give him this, he got Destiny to lose his place a couple of times due to the absurdity of his statements. He has a good foundation in misdirection but he lacks anything in the follow through.
Sad that gaming is now as snake-like as politics are.
It's not enough of a problem to discredit him entirely.

Nah. The number 12 million comes from his affiliation with Normal Boots and Game Grumps by the looks of the article. Pretty misleading.
Destiny exists in that weird spot where the right hate him for being too liberal and liberals hate him for having too much in common with the right.
12 million is the total count of all his involved projects, including Did You Know Gaming, Peanut Butter Gamer, Jontron, etc.
His actually Jontron account hovers at around 3 million, but he's been steadily losing subscribers for the past couple of hours.

I think it's really great that Jon supports returning this country to its founding stock. I've long been supporting the idea that we give America back to the Native Americans, they really deserve it. White people don't belong here anyway

I think its 100% clear at this point especially after listening to it again. That Jon is incapable of having a debate. When he was not spouting racist or downright idiotic crap. He was stumbling around like a moron and giggled every time he responded to Destiny and his only defense was something along the lines of...Oh you are trying to bait me into saying something stupid or scientific data is irrelevant because Hillary lost? He also probably knows how badly he fucked up because at the end he says "RIP my career."
I mean for fucks sake Its no like he didn't know what they were going to talk about before the stream started! He had time to prepare its not like he was caught on the spot. I guess he was expecting this to be a breeze probably because he is so convinced of his own bullshit at this point. That he must've figured this would be a one sided debate and if not his fans will always come to his defense. Guess its not working this time as well as he was probably expecting after seeing some of the Reddit posts.
This whole situation is extremely disappointing, before this thread i had no idea what a complete loon this guy actually was and really enjoyed his videos. Unfortunately its impossible to separate him from his work because from now on every time i see him i will be reminded of what a complete idiot he is. Also yes there is not a single doubt in my mind that he is a racist. I have no idea how anybody could come to any other conclusion after listening to the stream.

JonTron has been my favorite YouTuber for almost five years but after I saw his increasing support for batshit crazy places like InfoWars and Breitbart I knew I had to jump off that ship. Guy is a contemptible dickhead.

Not that I know of. Personally, after his female Ghostbusters rant and given that he never ever comments on political stuff whatsoever, crossed with what seems to be his personality and experience with Youtube stars, my mind makes up its own conclusions. They're hopefully completely wrong though, he's one of my early internet hypes.
