Man I really hope this game has some decently sized mp maps. Playing bo3/bo2, I get so sick of how small everything is. It makes predictable spawn flipping so rampant in every single match.

Well, we already know there's going to be a Co-op mode that isn't just Singleplayer with multiple people.

Sounds good to me, I just really hope it isnt fucking zombies. I don't hate the zombies mode but I'm really fed up with zombies being the coop mode in every fuckin COD game right now. It's annoying.

So you do care about the MP.

the right way to say it is: couldn't care less

Lol

You knew what I meant ;)

Allies are using German planes? They look like C4-7s to me

What makes you think it's allies? There were some axis planes flown over the beaches during d day and some air fighting.

The Jg 2 and Skg 10 were a couple that saw air combat during the landings.

Here's hoping.

They wimped out after that minus BO1.

And Black Ops I only has it in campaign (and zombies, of course), not in multiplayer like World at War.

Black Ops III had gibbing in MP, but only with specialist weapons. Same for IW, and it's less shooting off body parts and more reducing a person to a bloody puddle (or mist) in one fell swoop.

None have done it as well as in World at War, where it fit the brutal setting and made the heavier weapons feel particularly vicious.

MW2 was the funnest Duty. Then people bitched. they stripped out all the fun to make it "balanced" because bland=balanced. Preparing for massive disappointment.

I've no idea why spec ops hasn't even brought back yet, I've been craving a 4 player spec ops. If they did a 8 player spec op in the vein of Resistance 2 that'd be amazing.

Probably because overall Spec ops offers less replay value than the other modes. Once you aced all of the Spec Ops missions, there is no reason to ever play them again.

I'm hoping Michael Giacchino is on composing duties. I have a positive feeling about it.

How incredibly perfect would that be?

Unfortunately, Michael Giacchino hasn't done a videogame score since Turning Point: Fall of Liberty almost 10 years ago; which coincides with him winning an Oscar for Up and becoming huge in the movie industry.

That's cause activision destroyed what it was supposed to be, one of the devs talked about the plan for spec ops. It was gonna get much more added to it.

Man, Giacchino's score for the original Medal of Honor was incredible.

I never understood the attachment to Spec Ops or Zombies. Tried spec ops in MW2 and it was extremely boring. But I was also one of the random few who enjoyed third person mode so what do I know.

They really need to give Zombies a fucking break already. It's become this bizarre, needlessly complex bullshit that's not even recognizable as COD Zombies anymore.

If there's one thing that's more tired and played out than the futuristic setting, it's the damn zombies mode -_-

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.

I hope the game starts out with General D. Dwight Eisenhower's famous line and fades in with cold opening at Ohama Beach where you play as multiple soldiers trying to rush down the beach and everytime you get killed you'll see the name or dog-tag of the soldier you played and take control of a new one until you reached a certain Checkpoint on the beach (kinda like what BF1 did).

I agree...but a ton of people keep playing it. :\

I like the complexity. Had the mode stayed as simple as GAF wished it did. Zombies would have died with Black Ops. The increasing complexity added a lot more to the game mode than simple survival and fathered a strong community because of it.

Like the way people talk about it being too complex, you would think it would be dead. But zombies has stayed one of the strongest aspects of Call of Duty's population. There's a reason we're seemingly getting DLC5 that's Zombies only for Black Ops 3.

I don't know if this has been posted yet but pre order at GameStop get a free hat. Seems like Activision has some sort of partnership with Gamestop this year. Both Destiny 2 and CoD WW2 have special editions and pre order bonuses only at GameStop this year.

Considering the marketing, I'm curious if Omaha is going to be a first level showstopper or sprinkled in the middle of the campaign.

I loved how in Allied Assault you were mostly doing covert missions at the beginning and then the actual landing takes you completely by surprise (Unless you've watched Saving Private Ryan of course).

Really that's why your out? That's really sad.
It's not sad that I want the whole game to be appealing and not 2/3 of it. I don't get a discount if I never touch the co-op.

And if I'm coming to something that otherwise looks like a tasteful, classic-style WW2 game, I sure as hell don't want stupid zombie sci-fi bullshit tacked onto it. Those are two wildly different kinds of things, and I may actually hate zombies more than I like WW2.

MW2 was the most fun I ever had with the series, but it definitely was a clusterf**k at the time when compared to its recent predecessors. The game was very over-the-top and made CoD4 and WaW seem much more tame. But at this point, I'd do anything to experience that game again in its heyday.

All of the visual marketing material we've seen so far OTHER than the cover art itself (talking the art, not the "hats" or anything lol) is good. Too bad the cover art is so lame.

lmao at believing this

my unborn child could hit inspect element and change it to say zombies but it doesn't mean it's true

think for yourselves for once

Some other folks are corroborating seeing that description in the same topic. Those guys speculate a lot, but they aren't the kind of people to straight up lie. Plus the guy credited with finding it is a big CoD/zombies youtuber (big enough to be co-hosting the livestream tomorrow), so they'd be needlessly putting their reputation on the line.

...and then he composed the score for an entry in the biggest gaming franchise on the planet - COD:WWII ;)

Call of Duty always gets some pretty big name celebrities to appear in their games, right?

What if

What if Tom Hanks is in this one
