I don't think you know who that is.

I am pretty sure I know that I don't care for Smash anymore after 4 games and being pretty lukewarm on both Brawl and Smash 4 and Sakurai doesn't overlook Kirby games anymore that much and they are just fine. I am pretty sure I know who that is.

It's a matter of opinion and I don't think he has it anymore. I really don't think his design sensibilities match with Platinum anyway. At least from a gameplay point of view.

Not saying all of his games suck either since I liked them in the past lol.
 
Hopefully it's not an exclusive and everyone can play it. And hopefully it has nothing to do with scalebound cause that game looked bad and everyone knows it.

Well, NieR: Automata is a better game overall than the Bayonettas, so it has that going for it. It doesn't have the combat depth, but it's not exactly a character action game, either. Of course, if you're mostly interested in bombastic boss fights and the depth of its combat, I can see why Bayonetta would be a preference.

Like I mentioned earlier, perhaps the upcoming Absolver will fill that void. It's a Souls-ish, third-person action-adventure game - centered around martial arts - set in an interconnected world made by a French indie team (Sloclap) and published by Devolver. It's set for release in August. Reception of demo builds so far has been quite positive.

Its been a while since Platinumgames made a masterpiece like Metal Gear and Vanquish and Bayonetta 2. They should make another game like that again.

I can't, but that's only because I hold quite a few action RPGs far above character action games. So while NieR: Automata may not be the best in its genre, it's still the best game Platinum has been involved with in my eyes.
 
That's why Sakurai should direct and write it, like how Yoko Taro was still in charge of Nier Automata even if PlatinumGames was the primary developer.

Yeah, that completely misses the point of the game. It was as tight as it was because it was on rails, and when on ground, in small dense areas
