Probably. Rockstar is pretty good with not putting out bullshots when it comes to resolution. GTA5 pre-release screenshots were also low resolution if I recall correctly.


Though I still fully expect the game to run at 4K on Scorpio.

Rockstar always does in-engine shots and trailers. So there is very little that changes by time of release. Looks to be amazing work they are doing. The loneliness and expanse of RDR2 will really be a change from GTA V. Can't wait until I am again walking somewhere becauase I want to keep my horse alive and having to knife hundreds of wolves attacking me and getting their pelts.

I really hope they found a way to infuse the gameplay with some well-paced variety. The first RDR really suffered from a slow and boring middle third that felt comprised entirely of "go here, shoot these people," with the occasional wagon race mixed in. Never really understood people hailing RDR as a GOTY contender, or its sequel inspiring faith on that front unless it can improve the gameplay.

RDR did have an amazing world, though. And still to this day, it looks gorgeous. In that respect, at least, RDR2 looks sure to deliver.

I have to disagree, there are several proof pictures that show Rockstar put out bullshot pictures, especially in the wood parts where they showed lots of vegetation

I'd be curious what the animations in games that focus on realism for dual wielding six shooters would be especially with reloading involved.

Never forget that pic of Trevor outside of the house you end up blowing up. I would link if I was on mobile, but yeah, tons of bullshots. The remaster looked as good as them though.
