Ling comes with 40% base evade, Noct comes with 20% base evade. Lightning I think is 30 and I can't remember what Chiz is at.
Lucci - 25% evade
20 sided die - 20%
Quick Assault or Evade - 10%
Katana who's name I can't remember - 10%
Dagger who's name I can't remember - 5%
First Strike - 5%
Speed Plus - 5%

Chizuru is 20 and 40 after enhancements (which I just got done today).
Adding on to what Rixa and Zera have said the knuckle girl from the event has a 10% evade materia so if you haven't farmed quick assault yet that's an easy fix if you need more evasion. Apparently it doesn't stack though so can only use one.

Don't worry. You could only make one knife. It was limited due to the one item you bought off vendor.
I have kept like two or three more Cecils. Guess building up my Cecil that already had TM built up because I was using him was good. That and merging some extras. The Cecils. Its okay.. them Excals. Want to work on a God Save the Queen soon.. once I get Orlandu's stuff done.
Oh Cowl isn't out of the question. Just prioritizing.
It was Black Cowl vs Blade Mastery first. Going for BM now first and BC second. Using my 1%'s on Hayate to get him started.Zera_Bloodwinter

The mage struggle couldn't be more real. Took my "mage" team into Elite Titan. Now I breeze through this with my main team listed below and 1-2 turn this with ease. Figured I'd try the mage squad to see how it works out......
Trance Terra -4100 hp, 906 mag, ring of lucii, Mateus Malice, Enhancer, 3 LA, dual wield, etc.
Zyrus - 4500 hp, ~800 mag, Mateus Malice, mag 30% etc. No dual wield.
Emperor - 4k hp, ~660 mag, Draco Spike, etc. No dual wield.
Aside from Magic Activation from TT and trying to spam dual cast alterna the damage was bad compared to Orlandu chains. Yes, I know chaining is broken, I have 3 of my own Orlandu but good god I didn't know magic damage was truly this bad without chaining. Dual TT or Enhanced TT change that, Enhanced Dark Fina changes this but we really need William and CG Sakura and the other mages to really mage an all mage team viable. TT is the finisher on my main team that is evade tank Noct, 2 Orlandu, Refia, and TT as the finisher using alterna. Easily puts out 12 million damage on Titan if I get my chains right. If you've watched JP you know mages are viable to a degree once we get good chaining mages. For now in GL unless you have dual TT using mag activation and chaos wave or dual dark fina with enhanced ultima, your mage is just better off being a finisher if you have ring of lucii.
***EDIT*** I could add DW to both Emp and Zyrus but I really don't know if it would have made that much of a difference at this point but it would have made a difference none the less. I'll try it again with all units using DW.

I'm now sitting on over 100% of TMR moogles. I want to float ~100% so I can instantly make a TMR elemental weapon if I pull an imperil chainer, but I'd also like to use the balance so that it's not just taking up space. Debating between Wisdom and Blade Mastery. Leaning towards Wisdom because it's usable on units who can't equip katanas and because I can fuse/multi-farm Chizuru where I can't do that with Queen unless I discover that I hate having money. Thoughts?

Ah okay. I made it on both accounts .. just in case. (Even though didn't think I'd need it on main.) Has been a life saver on both accounts.
Demon Mail GET! Wasn't that bad. Just glad Refia had Vestments on for that refresh over time.

See! I told you guys that once Wilhelm's ass hit the door we'd get our WoL 6*! Thank the gods! I'm probably more excited about the insane amount of unit space I'm about to free up and finally being able to claim all the rewards sitting in my mail for weeks than I am about his actual upgrade lol So many metal cactuars, HP pots, SPR pots, DEF pots waiting for this guy to get his 6*. I can't wait to no longer have unit space woes! I'll be able to use my raid coins then too. It will be nice to finally have WoL catch up to Cecil too so I feel less silly for using him over Cecil this whole time. What can I say? I love me some Full Break. Now make up for this ridiculous delay by bringing his enhancements out early ;p
On another note, I started FFXIV for the first time this weekend and recently got to the seventh scion portion of the story which means I actually know who the hell Minfillia, Y'shtola, and the other three units in the current Raid banner are now. With this new knowledge, Minfillia is now number one waifu and she has an accent to boot. It's weird that Y'shtola is a 5* base instead of her considering she's the leader of the group. Clearly someone at Alim is biased ;p Anyway, much more interesting seeing them in FFBE now that I've been introduced to their characters proper. Also, finally got a Y'shtola thanks to the individual reward. I'm surprised how few of points it took to get here considering you had to have over a million to get her during Ifrit which is why I wasn't able to then since I could only handle Pro level for him. I'll go ahead and grab her gear but don't know that I'll use her since I have Refia with DC but nice to have in my back pocket I expect.
Now I just need to get that 10% Moogle from the individual rewards and I'll be good concerning the Raid.

As someone who beat me to it, Ling, Noctis, Chizzy, and Lightning... although there are other units that have evasion, it's just they're so weak in comparison to these 4, it ain't worth it.
Noctis can do so, Ling maybe... you'd have to hope ring of lucii proc every round, otherwise I'd have to think a bit if anyone else could. Shine could, but with as much as it'd take to do it, your better off using Noctis.

light armor with 10%
soleil's tm for 5%
yda's tm for 10% (non stackable)
Xon could also take gilga, but with 20% evasion you'd need a little more (could eq excal/duran/rune etc)

I also started to play FF 14 this weekend. I haven't had much time to play only level 12 I think, but so far I am liking it. Probably won't replace WoW for me, but I want to see the story, and where it goes.
Instead of OP i would say versatile. He is neither legend tier dmg, legend tier tank nor legend tier healer. But he is truly a top tier jack of all trades. I wish i had one too, can't deny it but as you continue you will able to rely on other units.

He's certainly showing his worth against Titan. I'm thinking of maybe going all in on his banner when it rolls round. Either that or Olive since she would apparently make an ideal finisher for my Orlandeau.
I should have mentioned the global/jpn differences. JPN Noctis is awesome and truly a Prince among Men and Women who deserves his Spot in the sunlight. Global Noctis....well Jack of all trades...and i want him. I relied way to much on him in the past haha.

Wooow. He really is buff on JP. Everything dialled up to 11 lol. But yeah even global is a pretty good unit and has carried me a good bit of the way alone. I probably should have rerolled for him instead of sticking with Lightning and was likely going to until Orlandeau showed up randomly.

So, I know a lot of folks use Bracers, but what is the advantage of them over say the ATK egg or Hero's Ring? I know Bracer is a bit of Attack and HP. Is for the HP? Just planning ahead for Orlandu and wondering why I would possibly go for two Bracers vs rings (Hero's/Domination/Monarch, whichever.. or the attack egg.)? Am I missing something?
Is it to make up for HP? Tempted for Bracers once I start replacing other things like abilities (Follower's Oath for example) to bring in Blade Mastery and all.

It's the HP.
Depens on what your alternatives are. Bracer give plain 30 atk and 15% hp. An alternative atk wise would need a unit with a base stat of 150 atk and 20% as the modifier, and then it only would be on par. Ifirt claw f.e. also gives + 30 atk as does luneth tmr. I don't have accesorys with % modifiers so i use plain atk ones and genji glove, which only has 10% but gives me a spot for a 30% materia.
Bracer is a solid accesory and with the hp boost it's hard to find an alternative that is as easy obtainable as pulling gafgarion (have 3 of them, untouched)
An alternative without the hp boost would be snows tmr. 30 atk and def.
Btw. Only 15.5 more hours till the direct. Oh and a friend and me will soon start our first nurzlocke challenge in oras. I'm excited.

Beating ELT Titan now no problem really with my chaining Setzers/Yun/Olive and friend units. So far it's been easiest with your Aileen units, folks.

Hm, okay, thank you guys. Didn't realize Bracer gave the HP % until right as I was posting (looked it up real quick). I guess I'll play it by ear once I get to that point with Orlandu. (Actually have two Gaffgarion's.. sadly only two ever which is why I kept them both.)
Have three Snow saved up, but feel like Bracer would be better versus that. I keep them around though for someone else that may need them when the time comes.
Would be nice to pull a Gilgamesh and get his TMR to free up an ability slot, but ah well. I can't pull anything but shit these days anyways.
Not getting up earlier for the Direct. Pokemon is my thing, but 7am here? No thanks. I normally get up at 8 anyway, so will just watch it a little later than everyone else. Not hyped. I've long tempered my expectations for this announcement. I would love to be pleasantly surprised though.

I do. And I will be working on his stuff.. but Orlandu comes first. Orlandu is husbando. Orlandu is life. I'd love to work on some Kaiser Knuckles and on Yun's own TMR for him... but he comes after Orlandu. Want to work on Luneth as well, but thinking Yun might come first. (Because he can chain with Orlandu well with timing.)

Nice! Well ARR is supposed to be a big of a slog story wise at first but towards the end and especially what comes after is supposed to be pretty great. I saw Duckroll rave a little about the story in or maybe it was right after the first expansion and the expansion in general fixes the mistakes of ARR of having a bunch of menial tasks. It's supposed to be a lot more streamlined.
Anyway, if you stick with it, we could play together. I haven't looked into the friends list in game yet haha Are you on PS4 or PC? GW2 is my main MMO but that one is free so not a big deal to take a break to play FFXIV.
So when do we get this WoL announcement, tomorrow? Wednesday? I wonder what banner will replace Wilhelm's. I guess most people are betting on Brave Frontier p2.

Damn, still missing Snow?! I was for a long time, then the heavens opened up and showered me with them. Just now working on one for my team. But I've had Cecil, WoL (5* capped right after I got him.. which didn't happen until right after crystal change), and WKN.
I have preferred Cecil but once WoL gets his buff I might prefer him. Refia these days has DC so he's less needed for backup heals. And Full Break? Yes please.
Watch you get Snow right after you get WoL to 6* cap. :x

If you do, I'm thinking of a double Noctis tank strategy on this boss, once the shield comes out from the next part of the story (anti death, kaiser?), and asking someone else who has a full evade/safety bit or shield Noctis and just alternating tanking duties while charmed. Should be easy peasy casting heals and just dpsing her down... in theory >.>;

Pulled a Trance Terra a couple nights ago. I thought I'd have all the black crysts required to enhance to hell out of her since I've never dropped my black crysts on anything other than Exdeath's meteor+1. Was surprised to see THREE of her skills all requiring black crysts and I didn't even have enough T3 ones to enhance her chaos wave. Luckily 300 NRG later I got enough need to do just that but had to leave Ultima alone. Apparently CG Sakura still sorta blows her out of the water But hey I'm not going to give up on a rainbow FF protag!

I'm on Leviathan. I haven't played in a long while but plan to get back into the expansion on PC. Debating staying on staying on that server or paying to switch over to Ultros.
Hm, that's an interesting idea. I'm working on a set of evasion gear but had assumed it wouldn't work there because of the charm. Two of them could alternate though, and with the ring they'd be able to get their mp back after the drain. At any rate the gear is a week or two of TM farming away so I'll have time to try it with WoL first.
