Seems like the only issue is that it's still a Crash Bandicoot game. So, if you just wanted the original formula, you'll probably be fine. If you expect a modern and up-to-date 3D plateformer, it might not be the best choice.

Seems like people are just stating the game itself plays just like the old games and whether you liked those or not will depend on how you feel about this.

Review scores for something like this don't matter much unless there's something horribly wrong with how they remade the game. Which seems to not be the case, and more a "if you like the old Crash games, you'll like this". Though of course some people will see these scores and overreact.

Why is it "difficulty spike" can be qualified as a negative. Some games are pretty much known for that and this is a freaking copy and paste with better graphic. Unless the reviewer hated the original Crash, 6/10 seems harsh...?
