Yeah he does. Haven't you paid attention? The Trump supporters won't go away and then vote for Pence with a smile on their faces if Trump is forced out of office. They'll be mad as hell and Bannon will pick it up from there, if not him directly someone else he'll work with.

This story doesn't end with Trump out of office, it's the beginning of a new movement. Trump in office is what is holding them back, it gives them a reason to play along. When you take that away from them, they'll lash out at all of Washington. All those little groups will start coalescing into something that will attack "the establishment". Out with the Tea Party, in with something worst that isn't really about politics.

I mean, have you? Bannon is where he's at because he rode the coattails of Trump by becoming his campaign manager. He has no real major support from anyone else, and is mostly at odds with basically everyone else within the administration outside maybe Stephen Miller, and he's mostly reviled and dismissed by everyone outside it. He was neutered from his NSA duties, and really only came back into proper graces with the Paris Accord stuff, but now seems he's mostly reduced to feeding info to alt-right trolls to dox people he doesn't like. I thought we were mostly past this image of Bannon the Dark Mage, the Master Manipulator.

Who is them, anyway? Who are you talking about?

I agree with the other guys assessment. Breitbart will carry the torch even if Trump is gone.

Why do they keep hiring terrible lawyers? Trump hired a quak and Jr. hired a criminal law lawyer. This isn't judge juddy this is federal prosecutors they are going to be dealing with. What a bunch of morons.

Because good lawyers don't want to be within a hemisphere of the Trump admin. If they go down, you definately don't want to be on that ship as your name will be in the history books for it. And that would be likely bad for future buisness.

To be fair to the lawyer, I don't know if there's anything new in that statement that Donald Jr hadn't already confirmed before he was hired.

Establishment GOP could be implicated. At the time Priebus was trying his hardest to smooth things out between wary GOP leadership and Trump's campaign. Surely Priebus being briefed on the leaked emails would result in him going to GOP establishment figures, donors, etc and telling them to calm down, something is about to happen.

If true, this immediately cements this as the biggest political scandal in American history. An entire major party involved in an attempt by a hostile foreign power to disrupt elections. The implications are apocalyptic.

Yeah.

Is that the mafia lawyer guy? In that case he might be used to clients that actually know what operational security actually fucking is.

Well, yeah, right-wing media will definitely survive post-Trump. There's no question there. But that's not what I got from what he's saying at all, I thought he was talking about politically. I mean, if he just meant he'd go back to being a right-wing editor and spokesman, then yeah, sure. I just meant politically speaking I don't see him having a future without Trump.

People better go to Jail

I mean, for reference, over a 100 people under Nixon eventually was charged and saw jail time. Under Reagan, I think just under 300 people eventually was charged and saw jail time. Eventually, it will happen.

I hate his stupid face so much at this point. God this is the worst meme of the year.

I got tired of his mute face last year. As the bricks continue to be built up, the faceapp smiling version really just gets better.

Cuz this shit is good. I want the Trump name to be like Adolf after all this is done; societal poison.

I hope lives get ruined over this.

You and me both. I want Trumpets to watch their god and his angels crumble before their eyes. I want the scum on /r/TheDonald to have mental breakdowns as they see white supremacy incarnate squirm pathetically in front of the world.

Yep. Reagan ran a shady-as-fuck administration. He only skated because he reminded people of their grandpas, and everyone thought but wouldn't say aloud that he had Alzheimer's near the end.

This will turn out to be his trial run. Hell stoke those nationalistic ashes and eventually someone else will come forward who is a stronger candidate that he latched on to. A more Manchurian Candidate.

He can't bring down the system without that, and that will still be his primary goal.

Man, I do not envy Mueller. All this stuff is probably just a fraction of what him/his team are dealing with. Job of a lifetime, though.

The problem is, the party involved are also the ones in control of everything right now. That to me is even more terrifying.

I don't know, maybe, but I really don't see it. I feel the more we've seen of this guy and the more we've learned of his past over the last few years once he joined in with Trump, the less scary 'dark mage' he's become.

If it makes you feel better, the faceapping of the guy into a smile is a mild form of rebellion. I hold out hope that it will be on a sign when Trump is marched out of the White House in proverbial cuffs. That would be poetic justice.

As always blaming Obama for this and Junior didn't do anything wrong

he said
"Russian lawyer was given visa by Obama administration....why was she let in?"

Is that like..... some warped form of the "boys will be boys" defense?

As in: "It's Obama's fault that this saucy intel was even allowed to get near the Trumps - how could they help themselves at that point!?"

They've always hated Trump. They will jettison him if they think he'll implicate them in the scandal.

We have a year and some change to hammer the "GOP is corrupt" point, but we need to be rid of Trump yesterday.

Who cares about the administration? In a way Trump got to where he is thanks to Bannon. What the administration thinks of Bannon is meaningless; what happens next is what matters. He can blame Kushner, the GOP, Soros, the Democrats, the IC, and has all the "proofs" he needs to make his case. When Trump is no longer present because he steps down or is impeached, where do his supporters go? Have you paid attention to who a significant number of his supporters are? What they believe? They are not Republicans or Democrats, they are people who want fundamental change, not policies or bills or procedural wastes of time; radical anti-constitutional unlawful change.

After Trump, the typical political solutions are finished for them. They are not going to look at the next Republican to elect, and they won't fo pout in the corner and stay quiet. They have nothing else to do, it's their passion and they have found each other over the past two years, across the whole country.

They're not going away after Trump, their solidifying their connections with one another through these "trials". It's typical, it's playing out exactly as it has before the world over in such circumstances, but a la American.

To my earlier post, I finally pulled the trigger on The Godfather films. Going to get it in this week, I've waited way too long.

You should be terrified. They also have an entrenched propaganda apparatus bolstering their every move with lies and spin.

Reince Priebus was there for a fundraiser. Most Republicans aren't stupid enough to engage in this stuff so if you are having wet dreams of Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell being active in any of this you're going to get a reality check.

The United States should just abolish emails because they're nothing but trouble. Killed Hillary Clinton, in the process of killing Don Jr, maybe it might creep in and get Kushner and Trump Sr while its on its rampage.

Email was the best thing to happen to government transparency,
