There's plenty of games "worth" playing. Just stop with that nonsense. That died off and you're a Lone Ranger trying to push it.
I'm not trying to push anything. I wasn't trying to attack the switch.

They can probably port 5 and 6 too now.More mediocre rom hacks on the way.
In all honesty though it will probably be Resident Evil 4 again.
Bring the Alpha/Zero titles now
I'm just saying I buy games I know I'm going to like and play. I don't just buy games because "oh it's the only game available this week or two". I never understood that type of mentality. I work off a budget and if I can get a game a month with one small title a month I'm happy.I'm not trying to push anything. I wasn't trying to attack the switch.
Capcom literally used the same "smash hit" words when talking about MH3U shipping 500k units. We saw how much support that turned into. Combine that with their previous comments where they said they wanted to provide games that were "appropriate" for the Switch audience as opposed to just providing games that are announced/available for other platforms. That was almost 9 months ago, I still haven't seen the Switch platform being added to announced games. When wii users "passed" the re4 and umbrella chronicles tests they got... Another umbrella chronocls.. So... I'm not quite optimistic.
Street Fighter III: 4th Down with Evil Ryu, Violent Ken and another Gill/Urien clone for $40.
Theres not much to play on the Switch right now so I'm not surprised that the game sold well. But as long as it tempts Capcom to keep supporting the switch then I'm fine with that.

People seem to say this when tons of titles are selling really well.
At what point will this stop being an excuse?

USF2 sold very well = Capcom didn't deserved this... I spit on buyers... Switch owners are buying everything.
USF2 bombed = Lol, Nintendo users don't support third partys games. Nintendo is doomed... Capcom test failed. You deserved the MH inferior version...Trolol.. etc etc.
In a shyamalan twist, the "test" was to port the games to other consoles, not for the Switch to get more Capcom games, thank you everyone who made this possible.

Now bring the Alpha games over to modern consoles with good netplay.Pls :/
Feels like it would have done even better at a slightly lower price point than $40 US.
I wouldn't even mind ports. Their PS3-era catalog on a handheld would be great for meWe should only expect ports. That's all what Capcom is doing these days.
Responsible for... what exactly? This sends the wrong message, I hold everyone responsible that bought this at the asking price.

In fact, if capcom releases:
DMC4SE
RE4
Viewtiful Joe
Okami HD
REmake
SF III Online Edition
I would play this console for an eternity. Those games are THAT good
Making No More Heroes 3?What is Suda 51 up to these days?.

This doesn't guarantee sales just like it didn't for Wii U.I'm not insulting your precious system. The only point I was trying to make was that SF2 came out at a time when people were eager to snatch anything to play on their new system.

Just port SFV you knobs.
Sigh.. Is this still not understood?Just port SFV you knobs.
https://twitter.com/mochi_wsj/status/890919984301449216Capcom: 450K is 1Q figure for Ultra Street Fighter II, above its expectation. Also "starting to prepare" multiple Switch-version titles.
Which was all the more reason to go on Switch. Not to defend Capcom, but like most of their current gen portfolio consists of ports, outsourcing, and exclusives. I'm sure they'd be more all over the Switch if they could, but they're REALLY hurting right now.
If this leads to the inevitable RE4 port happening sooner, I'm all for it. And frankly I admit I'm a bit ashamed to say I'd happily pay $60 for that...

New thread worthy? Multiple Switch version titles means some decent support from Capcom in the future.
SF2 was likely done in order to port MTFramework which is used for MHXX and it lacks basically any original assets so it's probably super cheap and has part of its development cost covered in MHXX's port
my switch with 20 games installed in 4 months disagrees
Profit margins must be so huge for them to be this happy lol.
