I have a 520m - can't even play dota at lowest settings without fps dropping down to 10.

Need to buy a new laptop or pc, last one got stolen :(

Bought No Man's Sky last night and have no idea how to play this shit. Maybe I shouldn't have started my first game on brutal survival. And why you broke my ship, I just wanna fly sky high dammit.

I also bought No Mans Sky.
It's.. Fine? I guess? It doesn't run super amazingly though and neither freesync or vsync seem to do anything about screen tearing which is kind of odd.
The ship controls kind of awful.

I had to beg Sarcasm for help as I had no idea what I was doing. I kept getting beaten up by tiny crab things and didn't even have a stick, let alone a gun, to beat them off. I then had to hump it for 20 mins to find material to fix my ship and then another 20min back till I could get into space. At this point I hit eject on my PS4 and gave it back to my friend.

The Bunker is $2.49 for another hour or so over at Indiegala.

It's a pretty good time to be putting away pennies for an upgrade. On the GPU side, AMD's 1070 and 1080 competitors are around the corner and Nvidia recently confirmed consumer-level Volta GPUs won't be releasing this year, while as far as CPUs are concerned, Ryzen wasn't a dud and Intel is expected to launch Coffee Lake very soon after unveiling the product family on the 21st, which will mark the first time it's offered six-core CPUs as part of its mainstream bracket.

actually thinking of getting a ryzen 5 1600 and a 1060 :x

is there much difference between the 1060 3GB and the 6GB one?

That's probably more of a publisher decision (S-E).

And despite earlier exhortations, still no sign of mainline DQ coming to Steam/PC in any form, so I wouldn't give them that much credit. JP publishing on Steam/PC is still below average overall, but can't blame them if they are finding more success on the consoles.

More recent 6GB 1060s have faster RAM, plus 3GB VRAM is on the low side these days, even for 1080p. I'd actually go for the RX 580 if you happen to be able to snap one up for a price that's within your budget (the RRP is reasonable, but demand is currently inordinately high due to mining).

i just built my ryzen 5 1600 + 1060 6gb combo last month and so far its fulfilling all my gaming needs. the 6GB one is more future proof and can handle more titles that need more vram such as mirror's edge. the extra 50$ ( Im not sure how much expensive it got after the mining craze) is definitely worth it. but do buy the 3GB one if you only need it to play games such as csgo,overwatch, pubg or other games that don't use as much vram.

Other than the extra memory, the 6GB version has extra cores and recent models have faster memory (9000 MHz effective clock, though the 8000 MHz version is still sold, so be wary of specs)
It's not a huge difference, but still an improvement.

Have zero plans on upgrading my monitor since its 144hz and G-SYNC but it's only 1080p, and I got it recently

I'm still on GTX 770 with 4gb memory and currently don't feel like i need to upgrade it badly. I think it's not the right time to upgrade GPU, current best cards still struggling to maintain 60FPS on 4K resolutions in graphics heavy games, and my old card is more then enough for 1080p in most new releases. Also, 4K monitors are still overpriced, so it's better just wait another year-two and only then consider to update.

And btw, Agents of Mayhem doesn't look that bad. But unfortunately I'm currently on vacations with my windows tablet so i can't play "big" games anyway, so easy skip for me.

KeePass on PC and MiniKeePass on iOS. Copy/Pasting works fine on everything across both devices, except iOS Skype, which crashes when you try and paste into the password box.

If you are curious, I suggest to complete For Honor SP campaign.
It was nice enough to be a filler of a MP only game, you play pretty much a big tutorial, but things are interesting enough to finish it.
It took 4 hours and 45 minutes to beat it on Easy, while I spent 11 hours to download it.

Also I just created a thread for NMS price on the Steam community hub, and it's funny to see how people blame Sony for the price of the game and other things:
