Strange that Nintendo didn't have PR yet. They did for Arms, I would bet they would do for Splatoon seeing that they secured top spot for both SW and HW

I think ARMS will end up at around 2 million worldwide.

Not amazing but pretty good for a new fighting game IP.

Yeah I'm not really talking about whatever its total ends up being. It will probably be pretty respectable for a new IP.

But its 2nd month in the US in particular is.......not great.

Ranking 17th in its 2nd month, in a month that isn't extremely software heavy is kinda the opposite of legs.

This isn't a very good result honestly
Compare with every other fighting game series this gen that smash MK or - injustice. For a new IP. it'a doing alright.

Wasn't that just the 1st quarter results of the new financial year? If not, I missed it.

I think Splatoon hurt its chances. Plus Nintendo has been slow with the content updates, so if you weren't sold at launch, you're probably still not sold.

Horizon I would think globally is somewhere over 4 million units now. Question is just how much above that it is

Edit - actually just realized 3.4 million for it was back during the beginning of June so its probably more likely just a bit under 4 million or right at it

From what Mat is suggesting, Xbox is not <105K after all.

When do we get the prediction info, so we can calculate Xbox numbers?

I thought they had PR about Splatoon 2 selling over 1 million worldwide the other day... No specific NA announcement though as far as I can see.

It should be counted in August, since the week of the 27th is the last week of this month. August is a 5-week month.

I'm looking at the calendar and July's period looks like it began on the first Sunday and ended on the last Saturday. August would in that case start on the 6th and end on the 26th, so 3 weeks, which makes no sense.

How do they determine the tracking period then? What's the pattern?

No that was for April 30 ( we got the number in June)and don't forget that was before the cheaper price sale.
Should be over 4 million WW.

Ah ok I thought that number was originally for April but then was reading an IGN article and they didn't really specify and I didn't look more into it.

So yeah its cleared 4 million then. I doubt its hit 5 yet but somewhere North of 4mil is still DAMN good

The crazy thing is that we're still in supply constraint months. Would be interesting to see how numbers hold up if/when supply is normal.

I expect the Switch to remain supply constrained through the entirety of 2017.

I don't think we get to a point where stock is fully caught up with demand on a consistent basis until next year

Edit: Oh wait Now I see the last 12 months ranking.

Yay for Crash and FFXII! Injustice hanging in there.

That PS4 top ten clearly demonstrates that exclusives still matter quite a lot and they can be as successful as their multiplatform counterparts.
