review codes are different than retail codes. Anyone that is playing the PC version has a steam review code, but a retail steam code (for example if GMG is sending them out already, I dont think they are tho) you wouldnt be able to play it.
I see. Is it the same for PS4?

So with all the down down inputs in this game, isn't that going to fuck up wavedashing? I mean I've been seeing people do it, but I'm trying to wrap my head around it. I guess it works if you do diagonals?

Just played through the Story Twice, so the rumor he gets unlocked the second time around is false, didn't actually get ANYTHING for the second run through, so save your time. I've beaten arcade a couple of times, not on very hard yet though. So I can't say if you perhaps get him there.
got bamboozled.
UPDATE: I've now beaten Arcade on All Difficulties, got nothing at all.

Yup, Ultron Sigma isn't an unlockable character so I'm not surprised that it was a fake leak. Now we know so we should move forward.

I mean, to even put out the video when people in this thread shot holes right into this "leak" immediately.

Does Arthur still get knocked down at the end of his gold armor? His level 3 must be pretty decent in this game since it can pretty much tag people trying to switch anywhere on the screen since it is so big, also keep those soul storm activations in check. Since you get a free level 3 with each gem storm, people would have to be careful if Arthur is in with storm up. Makes me think that Ammy would be really great if she was in this game because of her fullscreen level 1 super, you basically can lock down with a switch in for 1 meter.

I posted a response in the other thread but I think this would be best at baiting out meter since counterswitch exists. I wished the meter was not maxed on both players to see how fast meter gain occurs. Depending on the advantage after that move, I wonder what kind of mixup GR can try to go for when he wants to stop doing it.

Also for that kind of move, would GR have to activate his switch before the move lands if he wants to get his partner in, or can he do it during the move? Just wonder how the counter-counter switch situation would be like.

Alright, I've spent the majority of my shift's downtime here at work watching pro players kinda break down the actual launch build changes and have a go at a few of my favorite characters that are returning (that I presumed wouldn't be altered much -- I was wrong in some cases), and now I'm having a bit of a 180 on this game. I'm almost sold on a copy for Tuesday.

Got a few questions I hope you can answer for me before I pull the trigger, GAF:

1) I know it's on embargo still, and only versus and training are available for sharing with the public at this time, but has Capcom ever really laid out what type of tutorial/training modes would be available in this game? I'm amateur at fighting games but I do tend to actually hop online and compete in most of them in the early meta, and can usually hang for a bit with the average crowds... However, I do need pretty good tutorials to break things down (which I have found can sometimes be available outside of the game, too!) -- any word on how robust or lackluster this is in the launch build?

2) Has Capcom announced PS4 Pro support for this game? And if so, have the exact enhancements been outlined yet?

3) Any sneaky input lag issues that pros have picked up on? I've really only watched exhibition matches from pros and basic gameplay breakdowns, but I haven't seen a single report on input lag being an issue yet.

Thanks if anyone can help me get some answers!!

1) there is a tutorial but apparently it's not very good. There are trials for each character though. I'd recommend looking up sajam's beginner video for the game right now.

2) there is pro support but they haven't said what yet. Just assume higher resolution I guess.

3) input lag seems to be fine.

lol mike z just comes across as salty to me whenever he talks about other fighting games

He is obscenely critical, for better and for worse. If Jon Blow had an FGC equivalent, Mike Z would be the closest comparison. Reminds me a little bit of when Yooka-Laylee's crowdfunder completely blew up around the same time frame as Indivisible was going to get it's own and he wrote a lengthy blog post condemning it for "not being transparent enough" about the funding even though there were plenty of instances in the Kickstarter where they mentioned it. It's really hard not to see him as petty much of the time.

Marvel vs Capcom: infinite |OT| But which ones the lucky egg?
Marvel vs Capcom: infinite |OT| 2 Fast 2 Function
Marvel vs Capcom: infinite |OT| Recycle, Reduce, Reuse. Close the loop ∞

My personal favorite is that last one :)

Not sure if I can justify $80 CAN now =( cdkeys was a much softer blow at $35 CAN.

Green Man Gaming might still have it for 25% off. Not as good as CDkeys obviously but if you're excited for the game it's your only option. This includes the deluxe version as well.

Ever since my application to the beta has been rejected I just get mad salty whenever I see that game.

Totally me right now. Even done got to the point where I dont even care to watch videos of streamers playing it. Rather not do that to myself. I'll just wait till January.

I bought the game there a few days ago, but I never shopped at Green Man Gaming before. Any idea when and how we'll get the activation codes for Steam? I mean, I don't expect them right now, but the 19th is approaching fast.
