I work afternoons so my shift gets done at 1am. Gives me 2 hours to get home, shower, grab some food and probably get on Destiny 2 for a few before the show happens.

...otherwise yeah, no way I'd be able to watch it live. lol

Yup. Though I usually don't go to sleep after since I have to get to work pretty early. Will go to bed at about 8:30PM. Wake up at around 2:45AM to get snacks. That's about 7 hours which is enough.

Watching something live is much better than watching it after it has aired its also why i use paid vacation days monday and tuesday during E3 week so i can watch the conferences live.
