If you've got a kid this age with a birthday coming up, see if you can invest in a polaroid camera or something. I've legit seen kids amazed to see their photos as actual physical things. It's really cool to see.

Saw this the other day.

My 4 year old was like that initially when I showed her the Switch but now she knows about the buttons she is quite good.

My daugther swipes the tv so yeah, but only when the interface is "ipad" like

Die Hard came out in like 1988 and it had a touch screen CRT. Tech's been around forever, not the kid's fault the cheapskate companies didn't adopt it.
