Also, if this helps warrant Zone of the Enders on the Fox Engine in any way, I'm all for it. I know Konami isn't everyone's favorite publisher these days, but dammit, there's still a chance.

Holy shit, being free will definitely help me get back into MGS V. I rented it when it first came out and really loved the gameplay but wasn't into the story as much in contrast to previous MGS's so I only played for 8-10 hours.

I will definitely give it another go now.

Dreams are nice but eventually you have to wake up.

Clearly getting us hyped for Metal Gear Zombie

No, it's done for me. After a while i didn't like the mission type game structure. And after 20 years i'm done with the series.

Obligatory:

Should help MGO thanks to this, own the game, guess I have no need for the disc anymore then. Good month. Also whoop! Battlegrounds is on playstation now!

Edit: "Monster Jam Battlegrounds (PS3)" - for people who don't get it.

MGSV is great until you get to THAT part and then the mission structure and an already sloppy story takes a complete fucking nosedive. Good luck for those new to the game, you'll need it at that point. At least the gameplay in of itself is good throughout.

Africa?

It’s sick how Konami is still trying to profit off of Kojima after booting him out. I don’t know how much you know about Japanese culture, but honor and shame are huge parts of it, and Konami keeps continually shooting themselves in the foot.

I never played a MGS other than the first one, never got my feelings on the games 2 onwards. I liked the more arcadey feeling of 1.

So I guess Ill pass since I wont get shit of the plot.

Those of you who haven't played MGS V are in for a treat. Arguably has the best gameplay of any game I've ever played.

This is a fantastic Month. Unfortunately I already own Mgs5, but amazing for everyone who hasn't played it.

Definitely the "biggest" game that's ever been on PS+ for the PS4.

And amnesia collection is a decent offering.

Good job Sony.

Can't wait to hear the complaints about this upcoming month

Holy shitballs, PS4 on PS+ is killing it this year. But always with retail games I already own or already played, ah well.

Amnesia and Skyforce is nice.

Already own it and freaking LOVE it. Maybe I'll play it again to play it alongside those of you who haven't gotten around to it yet.

I wouldn't even think about it if it wasn't for Konami doing Anubis Mars & adding ZOE characters to Super Bomberman R. They can give it to Cygames, because I have no idea why they're doing that remaster other than for love of the franchise.

Been looking for an excuse to replay metal gear.

Interesting...they gave Ground Zeros a while back and now we finally are getting MGSV on the service. I'm happy about this, as I never bought MGSV. Now thanks to plus, own BOTH Ground Zeroes and MGSV :). Should finally get around to playing the MGS series (own the original on PS1 Classics, MGS2 and 3 on Vita, MGS4 and Rising on PS3, and now Ground Zeros & MGSV on PS4) now...

Love me some horror so Amnesia should be cool. Also picked up that THQ Norid 1$ Humble Bundle recently (the PlayStation-themed one), so have four games I never played before in addition to Plus to keep me interested.

October will be a fun month :).

Sounds like the game suffers from heavy duty open-world bloat though. That's practically my gaming kryptonite right now, and I'm feeling it more than ever playing Nier: Automata.
It’s a sandbox, but the structure of it basically boils down to 45 or so straight forward missions. It’s a different open world than Automata.
