I moved to my own apartment a few months ago so I can finally set up my gaming systems the way I want to. I still have limited space to work with, but I'm pretty satisfied with it.

My Switch is hooked up along with my Mini NES and Wii U, with the N3DS resting on the far right:

Bonus: My Retro Nintendo setup: (No Wii because I gifted it to my brother when I moved out, since he has some GC and Wii games of his own).

I have this unideal computer desk with a closed in cabinet, whenever I game I have to leave the cabinet door open to get airflow. Roast me GAF.

My parents do this with their computers...they end up sounding like vacuum cleaners when they use their PC.

I would honestly get a small fan to leave in there behind them.

Some of you guys have great set ups.

Mine is like... imagine a 10 year old 46" HDTV on a desk, the Switch dock on the side, a ball of random cables, dust and cobwebs, BOOM.

Here is my humble setup:
Nice! Very symmetrical and clean.

I hate these threads always make me wish I had the money to do something similar. I also lack any form of organisational ability or the artistic sensibilities needed. I would literally feel out of my depth trying to decorate a room and organise furniture.

I did not build this set up over night. I bought a house nearly two years ago but had to wait before it could be built. So things like speaks, and couches i bought long time ago, plus few additions here and there. By the time house came in to my possession i had accrued most of the stuff.

I spent lots and lots of time watching HGTV on passive basis so it also fuels your imagination. I am far from being artistic person outside of practicing photography. But if you see enough show rooms, watch enough TV shows and just experiment....you start to get sense of direction and such are results.

You can see evolution going from my condo:

To DIY project that took a lot of time and energy:

Dope pad! I can tell you don't have kids! ;)

Nope. But one i day i hope to have some. I know that rules of the game so to speak change once kids come in to play, however i run and manage things in my own way to mitigate the collateral damage they can bring on to dwelling.

Nice, equilibrium. Hope you can easily remove those pots for a larger screen on the future.

Perhaps for next house ill upgrade from 55'

My kind of room!

Thank you!

I call it my Workstation 😀 Off to the side (not in picture) is my X-Arcade Dual Joystick. I do a lot of retro gaming as well as PC and of course, the Switch.

And thanks! I’m glad to finally be apart of this community 👍
