The fact that everyone hacks their Pokemon shows how lame the system is, I quit nearly a decade ago because of all that nonsense. It's useless grinding that has nothing to do with the battling itself.

Please don't blame drugs, they have killed millions or billions even, and ruined countless more lives, yet they still don't deserve to be blamed for Era's madness . If anything, high doses of psychedelics would give them the empathy and perspective to even them out IMO.

I never even heard of them before I started lurking here, but have since checked out some of the more egregious cases I seen linked here and it sooooo damn funny, it makes Twitter look sane. Also as DeepEnigma said it makes a great containment area & asylum for some to the most insane humans on the internet.

What, you did not notice when one of the main Nintendo "leakers" moved over there (as Mod/Admin?) and brought the NintenGAF community with her, and even the site used the Gamecube colors? It was always low-key hinted on "Nintendo secret leak sauce, and we know things and will hint at them over time, tee hee" from day zero. So the most obsessive will say some fanatical shit. Even a lot border-lining on astroturfing.

Before the first Direct after the site launched, they were pulling the CBOAT style "rumblings/hints".

To be fair, it has changed mine. If I want to play on the go, I now have to take a backpack, because it is so enormously huge. Luckily, Nintendo prefers to release old games over new games, so it does not happen too often yet.

I honestly feel sorry for the people on ERA. What a miserable way to live when you are constantly so angry and find racism/bigotry/sexism/transgenderism/homophobia/islamaphobia with everything. These people can’t even enjoy a movie or a sporting event without somehow pulling out some sort of injustice of marginalized groups.

Plus, lots of those people refuse to take any responsibility for the direction their life has taken. Anything negative is the result of racism, sexism, Trump, homophobia or whatever else. I wasn't referring to the "kill this fuck" ban. That guys totally deserved that one. Honestly I would have made it a week though. I was referring to the "defending europe" comment. Saying immigrants shouldn't be allowed in Europe is not something that is gonna be allowed in most places. Because they see that as racism (because it is) and that is obviously not gonna be allowed on a forum like Era. And its makes perfect sense to me to permaban people for racism. Yet you guys are acting shocked that they got banned at all lol

Sorry but when when I see people throwing out stats and arguments on why its okay to keep out people who are different than you that comes off as racism to me. And its viewed the same way by plenty of other people as well. It also doesn't help that those arguments are EXTREMELY similar to the arguments that were used in the civil rights era to defend segregation.
