Of course there are so many more but the above three are my personal favorites.
I say Hideo Kojima consistently makes the best trailers because whenever he reveals a new game I'm genuinely excited for it. Death Stranding, for example, always struck me conceptually as well as the way it's presented in trailers as something out of a dream. Metal Gear Solid: Rising was impressive both on a technical level and presentation (something that looks like it appeals to both Japanese and western audiences). Going back further to the reveal trailer for MGS4, it not only made me excited to play a new Metal Gear Solid game but also other games on PS3 since at the time I really bought into the Cell propaganda. However, what makes all of the trailers special is that they got gamers analyzing the details, not only asking what the games were about but questioning story details, characters etc.
It's difficult for me to be genuinely excited about playing new games which is why I cherish new game trailers from Hideo Kojima. I realize that probably makes me sound like a fanboy but I don't care. Publishers like EA, Square Enix (specifically Final Fantasy), Activision, Ubisoft, you name it, the guys who used to be cool back in the day aren't so cool today. Even the quality of Nintendo trailers for me personally feel like a roller-coaster (some are good and some I don't care about). Sony are extremely lucky to have a talented, visionary game designer like Hideo Kojima on board as they prepare for the newest console generation.
What say you, NeoGAF?
