PS4 Pro and Xbox One X didn't kill anything either.

They have to make it kid friendly. They'll drop it a lot and gotta make sure it doesn't crack easily.so same performance smaller screen 5.5' with same 720p . and why screen is not larger size as that border around screen ? why that border even needed ?
Yes. Nintendo claim BOTW will be 1 hour more longer in mobile vs original NS.So this is the hardware revision?
A bigger battery makes it a hardware revision? I guess.Yes. Nintendo claim BOTW will be 1 hour more longer.
Fuck Zelda. All I care about from this asshole company is Animal Crossing.Yes. Nintendo claim BOTW will be 1 hour more longer in mobile vs original NS.
Yes and no. Bigger battery don't reflect additional 1 hour.A bigger battery makes it a hardware revision? I guess.
Its just a comparison. Nintendo is right about using Zelda because he just act like a battery benchmark for the system.Fuck Zelda. All I care about from this asshole company is Animal Crossing.
How does the Ps Vita original and the 2000 differ in battery life then? OLED screen aside?Yes and no. Bigger battery don't reflect additional 1 hour.
New battery plus some new chipset at the reduce size can do that longer.
But what if they run like shit? You'd just rather deal with horrible framerates than have the option to play them on more powerful hardware?I'm glad they're not doing a "pro" version. Seriously fuck that noise; the one benefit of consoles is being able to pick up and play without worrying about specs or how the games run.
I hate the ps4 pro's existence. It's better, but not on all games, so hard to justify dropping another $200-300 for one, especially since some games have worse framerates on the pro due to graphical updates, but at the same time, it sucks balls knowing full well I'm not getting the best experience out of the games I buy because I don't have the pro version.
I refuse to spend the money to buy essentially the same console twice, and I hate the long gaps between the standard and the pro versions. I'd maybe be ok with it if the pro version launched with the standard one, but rewarding early adopters with the knowledge they're having an inferior experience to late adopters is an awful practice imo. Respect for nintendo not sticking us with that bollocks
Why? It's still a Switch isn't it? With this one they can keep the TV feature in and sell it dockless to keep the price low. Sell a separate small dock if needed.
Yes. Some tricks here and there. Fabrication size, different screen, lcd vs led vs oled, new battery, etc...How does the Ps Vita original and the 2000 differ in battery life then? OLED screen aside?
Meh. I come from the PC world, where you get what you pay for. If I gotta drop a bit extra to get XB2 to not run like ass then I'll do it.
need some real world test to tell real storyIn their testings, they could play Zelda: Breath of the Wild during 4 hours.
This will be a weird one. This version is officially a portable only device. But its sales will still be added to the Switch overall sales? And compare it to other home consoles sales? This will be so unfair imo. Even the Switch should go under portable sales, since this portable only version is confirmed to be using the same hardware, just with tv out removed. With it included everyone wanted to call it a home console, when it clearly wasn't one.Switch gonna sell insane amounts now
Nintendo tech. They're 10 years behind anyone else in everything. Except for game design, thank God.why that border even needed ?
You know it lasts longer since the joycons aren't being "charged" anymore and the screen is smaller right?Yes. Some tricks here and there. Fabrication size, different screen, lcd vs led vs oled, new battery, etc...
All this at the same time can indeed get this level of battery, not just 'replacing new battery'.
But what if they run like shit? You'd just rather deal with horrible framerates than have the option to play them on more powerful hardware?
Post giant hands with your switch for comparison.Good addition but for me. My current Switch is fine for my massive hands + 90% of the time its docked
What I don't understand is, YOU HAD E3 to announce this! Nintendo being weird is nothing new also
Alright give me a minutePost giant hands with your switch for comparison.
Holding a big cucumber.Post giant hands with your switch for comparison.
It's actually 3x as powerful (yet costs less than the other version)!Do we know about the specs? Is it the same stuff but with some features removed and 5.5'' screen?
A...are you sitting on a mushroom couch?
Mario themed, yesA...are you sitting on a mushroom couch?
Of course in business world it makes sense. The Switch itself is a portable and they put a tv out because they wanted to leave behind the home console business. It wasn't making them enough money as their handhelds. So of course they were going to double down on this portable business even more. I knew it was coming and so did a lot of people. But I was still hoping they'd keep that one tv out feature in.You're getting hung up on the name. Think for a second, about the business, not the consumer dream world - why would anyone ever buy the original again when they could get a Switch Lite, with better hardware, TV connection, and an official Pro Controller for $30 less than the original model? Nintendo aren't that stupid. They're not about to utterly invalidate their base model system. This model is for the people who just wanted a new handheld and don't care about the switching.

Dunno. I don't have a original NS for knowing this, but maybe. Nintendo want any help he can get.You know it lasts longer since the joycons aren't being "charged" anymore and the screen is smaller right?
They still sell the normal switch... what's the problem?
