That trailer was wack.. And new Jill looks terrible too.
They should have kept this baby in the oven a little while longer, feels rushed.
Explain, it's a reveal trailer, take a look at RE2R reveal it was the same style, as for Jill i don't know what to say that I haven't said in the leak thread.

I didn't expect to see this so soon. Looks good but I'm waiting for more gameplay to see what they've done with the city setting and decide if I want to play it.

The first person sequence had me wondering whether this will have VR.

All the new designs and voicework suck but at least there is a classic option for Jill and Carlos. As for the rest of it I'm not seeing anything of particular interest outside of them possibly doing something more extensive with her infection.

I'll need to see more before I decide.

EDIT: Man, even the classic skins look bad.

I wish cinematic trailers died a long time ago. I don't mind some cinematics but just show me some damn gameplay.

(Still keen for it. RE7 and RE2 remake were awesome)

Mmm I’m pissed it looks like Jill’s classic costume remains untouched yet they changed Claire’s significantly.

Either way, I’m excited but won’t be buying the deluxe edition of this one. I wasn’t too impressed with the one for 2 and this game isn’t as close to my heart as 2.

from a nostalgia point of view i dont give a crap about RE3. 1 + 2 got that covered. therefore i am not holding anything against it and am ready to go back to raccoon city again. god i love these early games of the series. I do think the classic jill looked better, but its not a dealbreaker. i mean just the fact that we get to relive these games with in an updated and modernized style is a blessing.

Now, in theory, this should be better than RE2 because they only have to focus on doing a single campaign, rite? For a modern game, RE2 was fantastic, just some parts dragging it down. I've always wanted to like Nemesis more than the original RE2 but it has some major weaknesses which I hope they can solve here.

Either way looking forward to it. And having the multiplayer seems too good to be true.... Worried about whether that's to pump up the value of a short game, or how much resources have been wasted on it. Maybe that's their way of continuous monetisation since RE2 didn't leave much room for that.

I'm not being negative, just cautious... IT COULD BE GREAT.

Sick! I'm fucking in!

So from the trailer:

- lot's of living civilians in the city
- Jill looks nice, Carlos is... Meeeh
- Nemesis looks dope!

Will they extend the timespan in the city? That's why we see more humans?

Here is an overview of the game, via Capcom:
Resident Evil 3

On the heels of the award-winning Resident Evil 2, this highly demanded follow-up in the 94 million unit selling franchise once again utilizes Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine to complete the Raccoon City story arc. Resident Evil 3 stars Jill Valentine–one of video games’ most iconic heroines–as she escapes from a crumbling Raccoon City while being pursued by the unrelenting bioweapon Nemesis. Players can also participate in previously untold Umbrella experiments on the outskirts of Raccoon City in the included online asymmetrical multiplayer game Resident Evil: Resistance, previously known as the working title Project Resistance. Resident Evil 3 will be available on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, and Steam on April 3, 2020.

Resident Evil 3 is set amidst the nightmarish outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. The game marks the debut of Nemesis–a towering humanoid bioweapon designed for both brutality and high-functioning intelligence–whose dogged hunt of S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine made him an icon of the Resident Evil series. Armed with an arsenal of high-powered weaponry and wrapped in a black suit to hide his mutilated features, Nemesis will maim, pulverize or destroy any obstacle on the path to his target.
Jill’s harrowing escape takes place in the panic-stricken hours leading up to and following the events of the acclaimed best-selling Resident Evil 2. Intense combat and puzzle solving combine to deliver the heart-pounding final chapter of Raccoon City’s collapse. The horrific settings from the original game and new content come to life as never before with RE Engine, previously utilized to create the acclaimed Resident Evil 7: biohazard, Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5 with high-definition graphics and modernized gameplay mechanics.

Resident Evil: Resistance

Complementing the action-packed single player campaign is Resident Evil: Resistance, an asymmetrical four-versus-one multiplayer game originally unveiled as a working title at Tokyo Game Show earlier this year. As the Mastermind behind the scenes, players can assume the role of key Resident Evil characters like Annette Birkin in a series of deadly experiments. Manipulate the environment and wield a deck of cards to place vicious creatures, set traps and weaponized security cameras to snare hapless Survivors. A first for the franchise, Masterminds can even directly control elite bioweapons like G-Birkin and Tyrant. In turn, four Survivors must effectively work together, making the most of a variety of weapons and each player’s unique special abilities, to stand a chance of escaping the experiment before time runs out.

North American Collector’s Edition

North American console players will also be able to purchase a Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition. This premium package contains a physical copy of Resident Evil 3, a high quality Jill Valentine figure, printed artbook, a Raccoon City map wall poster and a digital Resident Evil 3 soundtrack. Those who pre-order will also receive the exclusive Classic Costume Pack that features the original design for Jill Valentine and hairstyle for Carlos Oliveira.

So including Resistance along with RE3 is how Capcom will justify the full price tag. Anyway, happy to see the classic Carlos look will be present.

Darkness no more
I can’t watch now. The release date is sooner then I was expecting. I thought it would end up being a Fall release.

Looks good. Hope they fix the RDP plot hole that was in the original.

That CE seems to have less than the RE2 one and it's pretty much the same price. The Art book at least looks better, the one with RE2 was shameful; quality was barely legible and it had duplicate pages, also the thing was tiny. No mention of classic OST DLC either with the CE, hum.

This zombie model is straight out of RE2. To be expected, I guess.

AND project Resistance is part of the game!!
Looking day one already. You can already see more crazy explosions than in the entire RE2RE, yep that's RE3 for you :p

March/April started as 'busy' then it turned into 'busiest months ever' now it's just madness.
