The majority of people prefer and choose a new console for brand new, new gen games built up for the PS5......If they are going to play the older games, remasters and remakes gives them some impetus...……...Yet, PS5 will have BC, so that feature is there as well.....
What made the XBONEX innovative? or powerful? The fact that it came 1 year after the PRO? What's the engineering marvel in X? Where is the CB hardware, the ID buffer, the 20Gb/s bus, the butterfly GPU setup, the 64 rops, the Vega features, the extra memory for non-gaming tasks that doesn't slow the OS down to a crawl......Then already in tow, the speaker, audio jack and share button all on the controller which were some of the best features this gen, then we had the trackpad, which worked great in some games and the vr port on the console with the lightbar which allowed us some truly groundbreaking VR games this gen......Now that's hardware innovation and engineering....fully utilized to bring us great games......It's the whole point of great engineering....
If you take the RTX 2060 Super which came later over the RTX 2060, is the 2060 Super some innovative hardware? No, it's not.....The extra power comes because they had more time to make it a bit faster and react to other products on the market......
