at least xbox and sony fans have SOMETHING to look forward to every gen when it comes to powerful tech. nintendo gives their fans nothing. here i am scared sony will limit the vision of the devs with a 9 tflops gpu and i look over at my switch with its 0.19 tflops. the new zelda looks barely any different than the cross gen zelda botw which already looked last gen in 2017.

with ssd and cpu making next gen upgrades even more drastic, when will nintendo catch up? can this thread handle a three way console war?

The quality is the same but being a exclusive grants a value, especially when Its tailor made for the system. There is a quality to be exclusive. Just like when a man or woman fucks around. value and image gets lower and Its less special.
OR If you get triggered by my example, lets take a shirt at Walmart and compared to a tailor made one.

“Why?”

Why is it so bad that more people can’t play good games? Why, as a gamer, would you not want more people in more people to experience things you enjoy? Seriously? It doesn’t invalidate your purchase or anything.

I’m really curious to see people’s take on this, because as a pc player first and foremost, I’m used to seeing many people in many places play many games, some with higher quality than me, and some without. And I don’t care, because if I enjoyed a game, I’m just glad more people will play it.

the game is mediocrity incarnate, but before it was exclusive so it had to be defended.

This isnt that big of a deal but this pretty much takes convinces enthusiasts to not buy a PS5. Why settle for 30 fps 9 tflops games when you can just buy a rtx 3080 with 20 tflops and run everything at 60 fps?
