Is it? Times have changed. Who says it is? So we should have something not much better than current gen just so we can make it accessible to everyone. It's statements like that which hold back the evolution of gaming. When flagship mobile phones went up in price because people wanted faster processors and better cameras, did they fail because we said they were too expensive for your average phone user. Get with the times buddy! If its too expensive, plenty of fun to be had with a current gen console. Gaming on a next gen console is not a right, it's a privilege. You sound ridiculous!

I know a price also has to be attractive, but even if it was $599? what is expensive about it? They are giving you components that you couldn't buy or build cheaper yourself.

I disagree. Microsoft is mostly likely going to win both US and UK, overall Sony will most likely lead, but it won’t be a domination like PS4

It's implemented so poorly it might as well be non existent. Sometimes it does not even work. It's not fluid like the PS4.. On PS4 you can literally pause, enter rest mode, when console turns back on it literally boots straight to the pause screen. For some reason my X does not always do that.. The Xbox OS is a slow heap of shit and does not work properly.

although it doesnt work properly on some games, 95% of the time works flawessly for me. Only case i recall not working as expected is fifa, that logs you out after some time suspended. and probably happens the same on ps, since its the way fifa works.

I got the impression that they have similar/the same sources? Brad was the one that leaked the XSX devkit ports. I have found Tom, Brad and Jez Corden to all be very reliable regarding Microsoft information, but Brad isn't the best source for Xbox.

Even you agree that they will win. Only scenario i can see with sony loosing is some major fuckup on their part, like super high price or something like rrod. But I agree that difference will be smaller than this gen, MS is not dumb anymore.

I'm pleased with these specs but I very much expect both Sony and Microsofts upcoming consoles to be extremley close in specs. I'm sure DF and similar YT channels will have a field day over the next few years zooming into pixels and timing frames to find out which one is slightly better but I doubt most of us will be able to tell.

He first said that both are 10+ TF, then when it was rumored that XSX was 12 TF after the VGA he changed it to "both are 12+ TF, that has always been the target". Also PS5 faster than XSX. And reveal of PS5 in February. And Lockhart doesn't exist. Think that's it.
