If that's the case, then yeah I am disappointed lol. If it's not $399 (whatever UK price that is)... I ain't buying it.10.28 with boost - peak performance.
9.2 on avrage?
Yep but weaker fps ray tracing and resolution over XSX.... The XSX is more or less future proof over the PS5Having only 36CUs it puts sony in a pretty comfortable position for a lower price.
It ain't 9.2 though lol
Sony's customised version of the AMD RDNA 2 GPU features 36 compute units running at frequencies that are capped at 2.23GHz, effectively delivering 10.28TF of peak compute performance.
from eurogamer, so this is max, the average might be even lower.
Why does the specs list the SSD not at 1TB? I'm assuming their accounting for the space needed for the OS and MS will do the same even though they listed their SSD as 1TB.
Agreed. System looks like a beast compared to this current generation and it will be $399. It has to be.Well, can already tell that people are missing the boat on just how well this system will perform. We'll see when we have actual games, but looks to me like despite having lower overall TF numbers, this thing is going to be focused on performance in other ways that will make up most if not all of that difference.
That's peak performance, it can fall below that as DF states.Guess github wasnt that far off. They just up locked 2.23ghz and got 10.28. WEAK
I was in day one already but this sounds like a $399 system.
Makes sense the rumors that Sony was waiting on MS to drop price news.
