When I was a kid, MANY times video games provided me a reason to stay out of trouble and off the streets, where a lot of my friends, (now mostly in jail) always where. Especially upcoming games and such that I needed to figure out a way to get. Whether with chores, small jobs or heck, even working on LARGE tile jobs with my pops which taught me the skills I needed to get into construction later on in life which gave me something to be able to fall back on if I ever lost a job outside of that. The excitement for games and new systems gave me something to look forward to and to work hard to get. I earned my first gameboy with a paper rout this way. But I had to stay out of trouble...

SONY, and any other company doing this crap, you could have given youth a reason to stay off the streets and not get tangled up in all this crap, maybe even plan for the future job-wise, yet you chose to fan the flames by virtue signaling and you've chosen your bottom line. You can shove right off.

People need outlets right now that ARENT rioting and looting. You, especially the entertainment companies, are in the best positions to do that.

2 reasons:
1- You don't want the protests to distract people from the unveiling of your product. So it's better to avoid presenting it at this time.
2- Democrats are 50% of the american people. If they start saying Sony is racist on twitter that can affect sales.
