I think the Series X looks simple and clean. The PS5 looks like it has a tumor on the side where the disc tray is. Almost looks like they designed the digital edition 1st as the primary model.

Can’t wait to see that PS5 tear down from Digital Foundry. Really shocked at just how big it is considering the Series X should certainly generate more heat given the power difference. They heard the “jet engine” feedback loud and clear though and it should certainly be whisper quiet.

I honestly think the new Xbox looks thoughtful, efficient, minialistic and practical without trying to make any statement or "standing out". It's taking design cues from industrial engineers, who tend to design the shell around the cooling rather than the other way around. New Xbox's cooling is similar to a state of the art Dyson fanless cooler, while PS5's cooling solution looks like its using the traditional fan/heatsink design.

I couldn't put my finger on it before, but the PS5 looks odd but familiar at the same time. Now that I see more of it, it does look like a router between two dinner plates.

I think I saw on the Austin "what's his last name" XsX reveal, that is not a light, the green color is painted within the holes, so everytime you approach to the console it gives the effect of a green light turned on.

Doesn't matter where it came from. In all reality, it's probably close to being accurate. The PS5 is very tall and narrow, meaning it will be long on the sides vs the more cube sized XSX.

Just curious, what is your excuse going to be once both are compared by DF and other tech sites when they show the inevitable same thing?
