I'm not, I have the game and have been playing all night. One of the few games I don't even skip cutscenes. Part 1 was gotg for me. Part 1 didn't win goty for nothing and part 2 will also be a contender and it won't be because media pandering. Of course everyone won't like the game there's ppl in this world tht can't stand any sign of violence. For them this game would be a 0. It's about a consensus, also about agendas. We all knew the review bombs we're coming based off the saltiness due to some stances in the game, the lesbianism, etc.
I'm not saying it's perfect but we knew ahead of time, talked about it on this very forum how ppl were going to come out in droves to review bomb due to their agenda, most without even playing the game.

Review bombing is one of the stupidest practices ever invented by the gaming community. It won't send any message, if anything the fanboys and the critics will defence force this game ever harder. People who actually played and genuinely dislike this game will be lumped in with bigots, alt-righters, trolls and the like. I knew sadly this shit would happen as soon as the leaks came out. Watch them and you know, without playing this game, that it will be one of the most controversial releases in modern gaming. I liked TLOU very much but I know I will hard pass on that one big time. I didn't like what I saw at all and I saved myself 60 euros.
The thing is, I won't 0/10 review bomb on Metacritic because I haven't ACTUALLY played the game. It's intellectually dishonest to do that !

I agree with quite a lot of the reviews. While I won't rate it a 3.4, the story is pretty uninteresting, Ellie's design on the sequel is way worst than the first. Basically all new characters are uninteresting. I do think the animations, sound effect and lighting is pretty well done though. However I'm glad that more gamers realize the many flaws of the game. This is like Life is strange 1 to life is strange 2, quite a big downgrade especially on the cast and story pacing. Never really love ND's games but this is bad even comparing to their previous titles,at least the cutscenes are well done . For TLoU2, other than some thrilling chase sequence, it's pretty boring.

Its just a game I just cant believe people are so worked up about a game. Where is the time when you could just play a game and enjoy it without debating every (lil) aspect of a product.
For me games are a way to relax I dont look at the hidden message in a game or some political stance, I just want to enjoy, relax and support developers.

tbf, same could be said about all the 10's user reviews, it really goes both ways. Unchecked user scores like in metacritic won't always be accurate. I'm still having a blast with all the drama tho, but more importantly the memes this game is producing is pure gold.

I am smart enough to have my own thoughts on any matter, if you want to buy games that are only fun, buy those games, I like my games with different themes and subjects to be in them. You can't decide what kind of games should be made. Your kind of "fun" is not my kind of fun. And your beliefs are not the same as mine, your way of life is not the same as mine, so stop trying to force your agenda on how games should be done and what is OK to be included and what is not.

Mainly with the story. Most people still agree the combat has been improved, the graphics/art/production is gorgeous and the level design is fantastic

I probably agree that those who intend to put bad scores out of rage are a bunch of demented people. But that doesn't mean all the low scores are bad. The same goes to all the 10 out there.
Thats why people are fishy with people defending all 10 scores but are salty about the bad ones.

If you were a fan of the first game, I could absolutely understand why you would hate this new one. And LGBTQ sentiments have absolutely nothing to do with that opinion.

The gameplay is nothing to write home about. It's an improvement to the first but that's just them playing catch-up
AI is garbage. First gameplay reveal was smoke and mirrors (no surprise there)
Then the important points about NG games

if its the same tired naughty dog formula from all their other games, its a shit game. Thing is, they enginner these games to receive high scores. Jonathan Cooper said as much. They focus test the living shit out of their games in order to get this type of reception. Its cinicaly made to caress what needs caressing in order to score high.
Otherwise, their games are the same automated, controller gimped games that almost play themselves. With focus on story and characters and trying to toy with the viewers heartstrings.

At the very least those people actually played the game and completed it. Whether or not you agree with a reviewer's opinion is entirely up to whose opinion you trust.
You don't even have to care about any of their opinions either, since their own opinions are not guaranteed to reflect your experience with the game.
Some people spend more time arguing about games they haven't played or the politics surrounding certain games than actually playing games.

Which is simply not true, 99% of the user reviews right now, positive or negative, are from people who didn't play or at least didn't finish the game.

It's a Naughty Dog game, longer down the timeline they are still critically acclaimed and their games are still talked about and GOTY. Why do people still try to paint another picture. Whyyyyy? There's just too many facts and statistics (reviews, awards, sales, general player response) that don't reflect what the neigh sayers painted picture. The minority is very very small. I'm putting it down to there's not new games for them to play.
