I see what you mean. Add resolution to it too. Plenty of people here will put 4k pc versions of mediocre looking games above the likes of RDR2. Its pretty stupid.i know that, but some people is gonna tell you that shadows, reflections and ligths are the most important things in a videogame...
Seriously!? Why people need be hyperbolic about everything? from tech side TLOU part 2 might be better, but I personally like setting and visuals style in Ghost of Tsushima more.
nah its a joke. the animations arent as good which is why it looks kinda dated, but yes i was using hyperbole to try and be funny.
The women upgrade animations was cool as hell. It was realistic but was only once in a while so it didn't get in the way of things like the looting in RDR2.
Read the OP again and come back here with a straight face? Some people clearly haven't played RDR2 on the XB1X. TLOU2 is only 1440p/30fps.
Play Gears 5 and tell me a game that looks better at 60fps from ANY Sony 1st party game. Go ahead!
Play Doom Eternal (60fps and 1800-4k on XB1X)
And wait for Halo Infinite, Cyberpunk 2077, and AC Valhalla.
TLOU2 is the best look PS4 game, so it makes sense that some of you are omitting RDR2 on XB1X.
It looks damn good on Pro.Havent played either but how does ffvii hold up?
Tlou2 looks so good it makes ghost of tshushima look like a switch game.
Seriously!? Why people need be hyperbolic about everything? from tech side TLOU part 2 might be better, but I personally like setting and visuals style in Ghost of Tsushima more.
I'm trying to replay Uncharted 4 and yeah, i sorta agree. I didn't remember UC4 looking this good.Funny, Uncharted 4 looks better.
I meant to say weapon. I don't know where that came from. When do you upgrade the women, does Abby start on level 4 arms?
This could also mean Ghost of Tsushima is sacrificing animation for more responsive control.nah its a joke. the animations arent as good which is why it looks kinda dated, but yes i was using hyperbole to try and be funny.
Except Cyberpunk.
If you have this PC, you don't need to ask the question. You know from having that PC and seeing it with your own eyes.Um I have a PC that can easily do 1440p and often 4k. What PC games blow TLOU2 out of the water?
Read the OP again and come back here with a straight face?
Graphics. Animation. Emotion. Design. Cinematics. Camera work. Not only is RDR not as visually impressive, but the camera and animation on that game is no where near LOU 2. For a tense game, the controls and camera work needs to be excellent, also the animation in LOU 2 perches way above that title. No need to bring Gears 5 here, I played that on PC, Part 4 looks better in more ways than one, with actual physics too.....Gears unfortunately does not shine this gen as it did in the 360 era visually. Gears has always played second fiddle to ND games visually in every generation PS3 and this one is no different.......Gears 5 vs UC4 and LOU2 is not even a contest for the ND games visually......And just think, in all the categories the OP mentioned, plus gameplay, it's a clean sweep.
That's twice the framerate.Agreed. No one comes close to ND.
People mentioning Gears 5 because its 60FPS lol
The mistake that you guys always make is telling people what they've played and they have not. RDR 2 is not an XBOX exclusive, it's on PS4 and on PC, where I have both platforms. RDR2 does not run at 60fps on XBONEX, the console versions even have settings at low and below low in some instances. The PC version is the stalwart of settings for that game especially AMD cards using Vulkan. The 60fps you speak for Gears, guess what, I played it at better settings than XBONEX on PC. The only place you are getting 60fps on RDR 2 is PC as well......None of these games at the best settings on PC is as impressive as TLOU2, in the categories the OP has specified........You are doubting that people have played games that are available on multiple platforms, yet it would be interesting if you've actually seen LOU2 in realtime....I'm just about to wrap it up....34 hours in....BS. RDR2 on the XB1X is better in literally every category. The animations are very realistic in RDR2. From the mud tracks, horses, shooting hats off etc...
Gears 5 is 60 fps. Again, tell me a single PS4 1st part exclusive that looks as good as Gears 5 that's a 60fps game. Do it! That's right, Sony has no 1st party 60fps games. They sacrifice framerate to get visuals like TLOU2. TLOU2 would be a 1080p game if it were at 60fps.
In summary, you've not played RDR2 on XB1X. You incorrect about the animations. Or the fact that RDR2 has far more AI on screen, open world, dynamic weather, near native 4k etc...
You're comparing Gears 5(a 60fps game at higher resolution to boot that runs at TWICE the framerate) vs two 30fps games that clearly have MAJOR cutbacks.
Regarding Gears 5: The reason they can do twice the framerate is because everything is half as good as TLOU 2.That's twice the framerate.
Play RDR2 on the XB1X. It not only comes close to TLOU2, but it surpasses it
have you played tlou2? its extremely responsive. This could also mean Ghost of Tsushima is sacrificing animation for more responsive control.
Its is but it also much more slower game than Ghost of Tsushima is.have you played tlou2? its extremely responsive.
Seriously. in every aspect. Graphics. Animation. Emotion. Design. Cinnematics. Camera work. Nothing can't touch it. I'm a super graphics whore, so it probably matters more to me than others.
I've never bothered playing PC felt it was way too nerdy for my taste.. Having to update pieces of a computer seems like something a bottom feeder would be into... LOL could you imagine wanting to play a game a having to boot up a stupid computer..lol so dumbImagine having never played a PC game before...
not the way i play it. i go full melee and it is actually much faster than ghost of tshushima because enemies dont take turns. Its is but it also much more slower game than Ghost of Tsushima is.
If you have this PC, you don't need to ask the question. You know from having that PC and seeing it with your own eyes.
I would say play the game before you judge that, because thats what I thought when I saw God of War (2018) gameplay footage for the first time, then I played the actual game and boy I was wrong.not the way i play it. i go full melee and it is actually much faster than ghost of tshushima because enemies dont take turns.
that is sound advice. i am a big fan of infamous and sucker punch always gets the gameplay right so i dont have many concerns.I would say play the game before you judge that, because thats what I thought when I saw God of War (2018) gameplay footage for the first time, then I played the actual game and boy I was wrong.
Please tell me, this is not Cyberpunk? Which DF spilled their moist kittens into severe hyperdrive overhype. Said it was next gen and the most impressive thing they'd ever seen to date...
I have not watched the previews yet, too busy playing LOU 2, but it seems I should take a break to watch these videos....Is there a technical analysis on these previews yet?
The Resident Evil remakes look just about as good, and run at 60fps on a half decent PC.
