We all know this game will look tremendously better in the future once it breaks away from its Xbox One foundation. Until then, I simply don't understand how Microsoft did not show off a truly enhanced version of Halo. Why no side by side with Xbox One and Series X version with all of its ray-tracing goodness? Why is it running on a PC? Also, making Halo a live service for the next ten years!? No way in hell is it lasting that long. What is going on over at that studio?

-The important here is the TF not that SSD
-Xbox will have multiple studios/teams for halo so the version of XSX will be gorgeous
Also the smartphone games search the engagement so is not necessary something good to swank or at least something
I define as search to make the best game you can.
The worst thing you can do is try to justified this is saying is clearly the games of PS4 will looks better than you games of
XSX because are different type of games... is a machine with hardware of 2013 vs something high end of 2020.
We are not saying why an indie game or an AA game looks worst, Halo is a AAA game, the game which should be the first showcase
of your new console because according to them the old gen doesn't hold back anything and was created thinking in the new hardware.

What choice did they have? It's XSX flagship title for the launch, which happens within 4 months, they cannot delay it.

There were tons of fans saying wait until july 23rd. Thats when we see the real stuff. Even Phil saying things.
I completely expected them to put on an amazing show. A lot of trailers were only a minute long, halo is a complete mess, I dont think a XSX was showing anything.
Its all just weird and Im starting to sense delay announcements incoming.

We saw no gameplay of Fable or Hellblade, two of their major releases for the Xbox Series X.
Halo may appeal to people, but it doesn't for me personally. It looks more of the same in an open world setting. It doesn't need to be GoW, it just needed to impress me. Games like Destiny appeal more to me than Halo from a visual and gameplay standpoint.

Exactly, here in this forum I have multiple discussions about how a cross gen game specially this gen
will suffer in graphics and mechanics.
The people think when I said that I am attacking the Xbox studios but I was attacking the marketing,
any decent programers can tell you stories of pain when they try to optimize to multiple devices specially when
the delta is so big and not the money is not enough and not the money of Microsoft is not the money of Xbox.
The games on XSX will looks much better than this in 2022 when Xbox one and Xbox one X will be forgotten.
The decission of release RT after the release in XSX for me is so stupid, the game will have its higher sales and
importance in internet the first days, Halo is not GTA.
I am sure this happens because is not possible in other way but guys are you going to wait until they release
RT patch? because I will played day one and probably play a little more the multiplayer and then will continue
with other game.

I just dont think its anywhere near ready. No RT, I didnt see ground textures, particle effects, explosions, it just feels like its far off and is supposed to be a launch title.
After this TV show is off Im going to look at the 4k trailer.

i read somewhere that this was a January build of the game so game should look a lot better now hopefully and yeah ray tracing is coming out after launch. Game play was great to me and in motion game looked good too I think 343 by launch in November should be fine tbh.

I think he's saying that because he expected a full on next gen looking Halo and we got a game looking almost like Halo 5, well I think that's the main issue most have at the moment. After all Microsoft themselves stated Halo Infinite was natively built for Xbox Series X:

Oh, absolutely...because the industry isn't full of stories about dev teams having to crunch just to provide a trailer or demo for shows like these...right? Yeah, they absolutely ALWAYS use 7 month or more old code to demo on flagship hardware, especially new consoles!

Ok, how about this one..... Ahem! Ok, so I've heard that Sony also had to use old code from January for all of THEIR demos. So I'm sure those will be looking way better as well by release! In fact, they were also all running on early dev kits that didn't have the final clock speed or RDNA2! uh.....does that work????
