Should be the equivalent of just increasing the settings on PC. With maybe some next gen features tossed in like RTX. Doesn't mean it's representative of what next gen will look like.

This is like saying that PS4/XOne can't do much better graphics than previous gen's games that run at Ultra on PC. By that logic PS4 COD games don't look much better than original COD: BLOPS 1 and 2 maxed on PC. Well, we know that's not exactly true LOL.

Crisis yet holds very well compared with PS4/XB1 games... on PC Ultra looks better than most of them if not all.

This might be my favorite trailer in a long time. Between Modern Warfare last year and Cold War this year, Activision really rebooted this series hard. I would have loved if they called this one Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Modern Warfare cutscenes were done in CG and it's likely they did the same here since the models in gameplay (if you slow it down) look way worse than the ones in cutscenes.

Crysis was heavily compromised on last gen consoles and barely ran at stable framerate. It's probably not a good example to use since that game was melting even the latest PCs at the time. I would also say there are many shooters this gen running on consoles (Modern Warfare, Far Cry 5, Battlefield 1 and 5, etc) that look quite a bit better than Crysis did.

I thought it was a well done trailer. Nice to see President Reagan "resurrected" in game form, they even got his voice down(if it wasn't used from archived sound bites of him).

You say that and then we have Crysis Remastered that looks way better than original and it's running on current gen consoles. That kinda blows your argument, doesn't it? And again, Crysis is bad example since PCs at the time could barely run it at 30fps, which is different to COD that can run at 60 on current gen consoles. Regardless, even current gen consoles are getting a version of Crysis that looks way better than original at max settings on PC.

Crysis Remastered only looks better on PC maxed... on PS4/XB1 I don't believe so... I play on PS4 and Crisis original on PC maxed will probably look way better than Remastered on PS4.

It hasn't even come out for PS4/XB1 so how do you know that it looks worse? Lol. They released a trailer recently showing how much better it looks than original and it's coming to current gen consoles, including confirmed ray tracing on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Not all of us care about Call Of Duty to that degree and I'd believe with the hardware difference, such a thing running in real time would actually be expected.
You telling me a fucking game running on 2013 1.8TFLOP hardware did this, yet we shouldn't expect 10FLOPS to look better or something? My fault for expecting almost 10x the power to have anyone come close to a last gen game I guess...

It was quite the looker because they finally did major work on the engine, but naw I'd say they're about the same. Cold War PS5 will of course benefit from a resolution increase over MW PS4.

From what I've seen from Resident Evil 2 remake and The Last Of Us 2's character models running in real time, I don't think what was shown should even be impossible or even questionable consider several games exist right now on older hardware that can pull off what we are seeing. So maybe I'm expecting them to be on par with what I see from RE2 remake, RE3 remake, The Last Of Us 2 etc tbh, that isn't really out of the ordinary as of course I'd expect on new beefy hardware for them to be able to match CURRENT GEN HARDWARE..
? huh? Nah....I greatly disagree... Having beefy hardware still needs software designed for it, soooooo no...having Half Life 1 on a 4 way SLI system with Titan Cards isn't going to magically make it LOOK BETTER then Half Life 2.
So Crisis on max settings on PC doesn't hold up against PS4 and XONE current gen offerings as those games are also running on beast engines with completely different character models.
Thats like trying to say something weird like Assassins Creed 3 on MAX PC looks better then Unity on PS4 or XONE or something. It literally makes no sense... Putting Metal Gear Solid 1 on a suped up PC won't make it look like Metal Gear Solid V, lets relax on such hyperbole man, I own the game on PC and I'm telling you, it doesn't look as good as current gen PS4 or XONE titles.
Whats next? You going to fucking tell me putting FFVII's steam HD port on a powerful PC will make it look better then the FFVII remake on PS4 or?
