Yeah, saving a lot more than even my usual scum saving in this game. Had the same thing to a lesser extent on WL2.
Oh well the game is really excellent otherwise, but damn I think I spend more time looking at loading screens to see what happens with different responses or actions and from crashes than I do playing with the damn load times.
That entire questline was so fucking hilarious, i know it's not a popular opinion but i really enjoyed my time with wasteland 2.Had 2 crashes at shops, which isn't the end of the world as I save all the damned time in wasteland. Ever since I accidently set of nuke off in wasteland 2.
Anyway, I've found a QoL improvement I would like to see: non jumping menus.
When I buy or sell an item, I don't want the cursor to jump between menus. I was spamming A to sell all of my crap that I had picked up and got confused when it said I had no money. 700 dollary doos right down the shitter.

The Luxe apartments sidequest...
Um yeh... unless you are overleveled I do not suggest you go in guns blazing... It's crazy.
If you don't play or buy this game you are criminal scum.
Yep, that was a crazy fight, didn't find Warrens too bad, but I approached every room really slow and created funnels.I went in guns blazing and struggled like hell but made it work out. I'm currently struggling at the end of the Warrens. Holy hell there is a room full of enemies.
Expertly crafted? The entire point of painstaking character creation is almost nullified because you can make as many one trick ponies as you want and add them or remove them as many times as you want.
Also all the crashing and general bugs.
Expertly crafted? You keep using that word, I don't think you know what it means.
I've not had a single crash or bug yet, must be lucky

My biggest bane are DOTs, all forms. Fire, poison, the healer class needs some better way of curing it. Cures I have only found on vendors, should be a stim or drink or something to mitigate poison
Make a clip with a FPS counter and press shift repeatedly or jsut any clip where you have the text pop up. I've managed to drop from 100 to 30 frames per second only because of the text, Karak and others also acknowledged that bug. I'm pretty sure you have it and you noticed the many frame drops the game has. Even skillup confirmed it a tweet reply that it's terrible regarding optimizations. It's not expertly crafted at all unless you're just talking about the story/writing.
What he meant and i agree even though i love this game, being able to create randoms at will kinda removes the planning aspect of character creation, you can build a mule for barter/weapon mod/armor mod, and just go back to base and switch anytime you want to, makes the game a lot easier and that's just one thing you can do with it.I've not had a single crash or bug yet, must be lucky
Also why are you criticising the game for the character creation and squad based nature? That's the whole point of having up to 6 characters, you make each one a specialist so that you are covered in any situation. If you spent ages making a character, that's on you, you're not being forced to. The game gives you presets and plenty of opportunities to meet other characters that you can add to your squad in the game world.

Buggy..Hows the One X version?
AFBuggy..
Reminder this is not in that so called GOTG grid.
WL3 vs. DOS2 vs Disco Elysium vs. Pathifinder Kingmaker vs POE2 vs Tower of Time is the real battle for best CRPG

They level up together with your characters even if they stay at base, you can create a new one as well, there's no limit, and they come at the same level as your characters.Ah I get you but then you're just taking advantage of the freedom the game gives you if you do that.
It's not like you can level that character up significantly if you just leave them at base and only bring them out for non-combat situations. You also don't want to have to carry a character like that in combat because they would be useless.
It would be better to give a character like that basic small arms or melee/brawling skills and then make them a medic in addition to being your barter/modding character. That way they will still be able to make a significant contribution in combat and they will level with the rest of your squad.
You can't game the system then blame the game for you doing so.
Tower of time is that good huh?
Now I'm even more annoyed at missing out on the free giveaway on GOG a whole back.

Wasteland 3, From The Perspective Of A Wasteland Newcomer
Early on in Wasteland 3, you’re forced to make a choice. The family of one of your party members, a young woman named Lucia Wesson, was recently killed. An early quest has you stumble upon a camp of downtrodden apocalypse survivors, where you meet Lucia’s ex-boyfriend. Even if he didn’t...kotaku.com
To the surprise of absolutely no one.
Now when I try to launch the game from the xbox windows app, it loads the store to the 'Gaming Services' page and will not launch the game... Even creating a desktop shortcut makes an usable file. I guess I need to reinstall.... Not great as my internet has data caps and I just downloaded the 38 gb 'update' this morning too.
So should I play this now or wait for bug fixes? It seems like there is a lot of jank.
I am and it's on gamepass, so...If you're on PC play now, just save often (you should save often in cRPG's anyway but that's another story...).

Triggered Kotaku reviewer said:I was turned off by a pantsless, stuttering character named “Shakes” in a nightclub called Little Vegas. Shakes needs help retrieving a lost stash of drugs. Their moniker, if I’m correctly understanding the “joke,” is meant to mock the fact that people who use drugs might stutter during withdrawal, something that’s underscored by the fact that you can respond by calling him a “poor little twitch-head.” Showcasing a character suffering from withdrawal is of course totally within bounds. Portraying them one-dimensionally, and using them as a butt of a joke, is not. That such downward-punching dialogue is present in a game released this year—years past the statute of limitations for not knowing any better—is downright baffling. We simply shouldn’t accept it when reductive language is used to describe any fellow human, apocalypse be damned.
Fuck me... I don't know how to handle this request from Charley Knowles.
He wants to take out the Monster faction at the Bizarre.
Ugh. I wish I could make the choice later and not need to respond right away...

Well I..
It remains to be seen thus far if that was a bad choice.Already had 'Liked' as my faction with the monsters so it felt like natural progression to take out Charlie, he felt like a scumbag anyway
Who even plays games like this? Fucking tools...
Think I must be lucky. I am not having any jank so far.
