Good Luck!
Not really and hope all game streaming services fade away like the gimmick they are that is unless they figure out how to completely get rid of lag and latency

those of you who complained about MS buying bethesda, this is why MS bought them. to gain a stronger presence because of amazon and google.

I am worried that it will end up, as most amazon services, being 2nd best (video streaming, music), bundling it with prime is no brainer but amazon lacks exclusive content to get people engaged. Hopefully none of these big boys (ms, google, amazon) doesn’t buy steam (ms seems very close with valve recently).

I have a question, how is this service okay for iOS for Apple to allow yet Microsoft isn’t allowed to do that? Am I missing something?

Fuck game streaming.

That's my well thought out input.

Also I think it's gonna fail and 10 years from now we'll be reading about why it never took off and hearing stories of landfills full of GPUs.

This is why Microsoft bought Bethesda. Not to pwn Sony but to make sure that Amazon/Stadia gamepass thing didn’t make the acquisition.

Microsoft has a huge head start here and google has blown any goodwill they had, but we’re maybe seeing one potential future of gaming.

Personally, I like the way things were last gen with still lots of AAA games that are entirely single player and free of microtransactions. I’ll vote with my wallet for that.

Wow. You think?

This is one of the reasons Microsoft purchased Bethesda, and, likely going after more studios.

If Amazon starts purchasing big studios (Ubisoft, Take Two, EA...), all hell will break loose...

Apple doesn't allow this. Amazon uses a webapp to launch into their own web interface. You are basically playing their games through Safari lol. This adds additional input lag. It's like streaming a game through youtube which is why MS hasn't attempted this.
Thanks for letting me know :)

Tag, you're it.
Why is there a Goldeneye's watch in the Stadia Luna trailer?

What Stadia should of done from the start, then maybe it would of had a chance.

Agreed, getting people to purchase a $60/70 game on streaming would probably be difficult. The only way I can see that working was if it was MS/Sony/Nintendo and they just allowed you to stream anything you purchased from their respective stores. At least then you could always just grab a console if you wanted.

Interesting, but it’s painfully obvious that all these companies are pushing for streaming so hard because they don’t want us to own and have control of our games anymore. I don’t think and REALLY hope streaming won’t replace standard gaming anytime soon, but the future does look perturbingly dark for the industry especially if next generation becomes the last traditional console generation.

Google literally couldn't have failed harder. Let's stop fear mongering

There's a reason MS have barely mentioned cloud gaming, and its because they know it sucks especially right now

I'm not that optimistic after they raised prices to $70. I think that's going to really make lots of people pause.

Amazon is much more of a threat, because they can just bundle it in with Twitch and Prime. No one really used Prime video for years, but it just slowly hung around and stayed reliable and easy to access.

If they all fight about streaming, Sony should stay in consoles and stay out of it and get content from everyone.

I can see MS getting their ass handed to them as Google and Amazon twos up on that bitch, with MS eventually come running to Sony 'p-please alow Gamepassss on PS5 we need your help old chap'.

lmao I'm joking guys MS gotta take these threats seriously though.

Good point. That’s one of the things that scares me about the future of the industry as well. The more expensive gaming gets, the more people will look for cheaper alternatives.

This has the same problem Stadia has. Lack of exclusive content. Gamepass is starting to become very desirable with its content. Google and Amazon will have to start opening up that checkbook and acquire publishers/developers if they want to compete.
