Valhalla is disappointing visually. I know it’s 60fps but graphics wise I would easily think it’s a Pro/One X title.

Legion looks good though, especially at night, quite a big improvement over the One X version.

Hoping Dirt 5 and Horizon 4 deliver now. If not...

I had this happen with my OG Xbox One. They got me a new one in 3 days. Hopefully you have the same experience.

That sucks. Did you manage to fully update it? I seen someone talking about it possibly getting messed up if it shutdown while installing the update.

That would be a nice thought. Going to call them in the morning.

It happened yesterday too but a couple of hours later I tried it and it came.
Was playing AC valhalla today and noticed it was in 1080p mode with no 4k option. Did a cold reboot and it never came back on.
LLeft it a few hours but still nothing.

Fingers crossed for a quick exchange as I was enjoying valhalla. Not confident though with all the covid and stock shortages.

In the end I went for JFO before Gears Tactics and I'm so glad I never played it before. It is a spectacular looking game and as far as I know it doesn't even have any kind of Series X patch. So far I'm loving the gameplay and story and I am not at all a Star Wars fan.

On another topic - Jesus Christ have the Sony fanboys gone insane with peddling anti-Xbox FUD and fake news or what??? The the fake smoking Series X that in reality are blowing vape clouds and the phony always online DRM claims that have all been debunked. It seems so damn desperate.

They get their precious tomorrow so hopefully they will go play some games instead of spreading more bullshit.

COD modern warfare now has an optimised for series X logo on it. But I can still play it off of my external SSD.

I didn't know that this game was getting an update. I can't find anything on google either

Anyon having problems connecting to multiplayer games? I can't join parties on Rocket League and can't play Fortnite at all(after playing fine last nignt).

Got Dirt 5 fully installed but it just gives me 2 events with an empty “game installation” bar below as soon as I open it up. Anyone else had similar and/or know a fix?

I love how fast this thing is. I click the power button on my controller, the system beeps and the ui is loaded and usable in about a second. I click the AC icon and I’m back in my game right where I left off in a couple seconds.

Quick resume is faster than first demoed. Launching settings is curiously not much faster than my 1X. Both series S and X are smaller than I was expecting.

Is it in a well ventilated area? Have you tried holding the button in longer? Have you tried unplugging and replugging everything?

Is it vertical or horizontal?

I’ve been playing this again lately (almost to the end of disc 1) and I still don’t understand the hate it gets. I like the digitized versions of the characters, it was something new at the time. The draw/summon system was different and triple triad was the ultimate side game, and better than Gwent (IMO)

Triple Triad was better than the game in many ways lol

I like FFVIII, it has the best soundtrack in the series IMO, amazing visuals for the time and so many hype moments (like when Odin randomly appears)

Its flaws are definitely the story not making too much sense
(hence the brain-warping fan theories like Squall is Dead or Rinoa is Ultimecia etc)
And while I like the draw system personally, can see why some tire of it.

Definitely underrated though, and I recommend everyone play the remaster if you haven't.
