How do you guys approach hacking? I mean the breach protocol.

I haven't quite got how to get all 3. Sometimes I do, other times one fails randomly and I get the other two.

Since there's no time pressure until you start, I just plan out my route before I click the first element. You can usually plan a path to get at least two of them, often enough all three. Of course a better cyberdeck helps, since it allows a longer sequence.

It's much easier the better your cyberdeck is. legendary cyberdecks have a buffer size of 10-11. i also took the perk that automatically loads the first daemon and the perk that reduces the amount of values needed to load a daemon

Finished the game last night. Got the ending where
I left with Panam but only had 6 months to live. Seems like a good ending as Panam mentions about medical care.

Overall I really loved the game even with it's issues. To be fair on PS5 I barely had any bugs....certainly no more then your average Ubi outing. Really looking forward to replaying once next gen patch and possibly some DLC is out.
I got the same one. Felt appropriate.
However I wonder if I could somehow leave with her and not have health issues.
.

Here is my corpo rat before last side missions. He is happy he paid for only one of them!

And I regret I didn't do it sooner - coyote is awesome

90% of the time I get all 3. It's way easier then it looks to be. It's actually kind of brain-dead to be honest and I wish there would be more complexity to it.

I understand that. There were moments when I easily got all of them. Other times 2 of them failed from the second input. Although, I didn't know about the upgrades to the buffer and stuff.

I've romanced two chars... i'll let you guys know if this turns bad for me that i've done this

Looked up what I need to do for full body conversion... and it's something I've very clearly done, I legit have every slot filled... wtf, why isn't this popping on steam?

As long as you have enough fields to write the code, you should be able to do all 3. Just be mindful of which line of code to start with and look for places where lines overlap. If you hover over a specific bit of code on the right, the game will highlight all places where that bit appears on the left, making it easier to decide where to start.

Here are some more (non-RTX) shots I've taken along the way. Mostly spoiler free I think.

It looks gorgeous. I was able to play smoothly with RX6800 and Ryzen 5 2600 (which was the bottleneck I think), although it wasn't 60 fps most of the time. Still, around 50 was enough with free sync. I am curious what type of RT will they be able to implement for AMD cards. So far it was mostly high with some ultra settings and one or two not that important dropped to medium (@ 3440x1440p).

Not doing that again here as it ended horribly for me in W3.

Those of you wishing for more weather added in future DLC's, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Pretty sure it was a design choice. It's LA, which means nearly perfect, sunny weather year round.

The thing about weather being scripted is complete BS. There is weather system in game and it is fully dynamic. It is just atht Night City is between LA and SF so most of the time you have sunny weather. It is not Tokyo.

Not only there are various conditions like various grades of rain but also fog and dust storms (yellow)

I think its kind of design flaw of this minigame that you have unlimited time to plan how to do it and then some 30-60 seconds to actually execute it.

It would have been so much better if you don't see the data until you start and then you have this short timespan to plan & make your moves. Also would have made upgrades much more meaningful. Who needs 60 seconds to click 8 times if you have prepared your moves ahead?

I love this shotgun. It is really amazing that CDPR did their first effectively game with guns and they absolutely nailed it to point where it has one of the best gunfeels of any game including shooters.

This shotgun is called Carnage and this thing absolutely SLAPS:

It's not always possible to get all 3. Sometimes they overlap or you can string them together but when you can't just go for 3.

I try for last one first then see how to get others or at least one. Plan ahead look where you will end up after 2,3 moves. If its bad as sometimes its just bad go out and log in again you will get better.
About whats kinda irritates that at some places you find good clothes in good armor and then for next 4 hrs you just getting worse stuff same goes for weapons. I wonder if that depends from area, from mission difficulty or what?

90 hours in now..

- The gameloop execution, story and gunplay 10/10
- Technical (clusterfuck) 3/10
- CDPR Company Management 1/10

3-6 months delay should've been quite obvious.. Again; I can only imagine how heartbroken regular CDPR employees must be..

With all of that said, I'm so addicted to this game, the core gameplay is so much fun, there's no other like it. I'm kinda OP with my hacking abilities though, I'm basically a god..

Agree, it's my favorite shotgun, looks and sounds like it came out of a Doom game.

People are struggling with this mini game? I mean, I get there are no instructions, but it's fairly simple once you understand the logic behind it.
right? it's so easy. for a mini game it sucks ass. in Witcher 3 we got Gwent....and this is what we get for Cyberpunk? really? is that all they could come up with?

Play Destiny or any Halo game.

As a long time fan of both franchises... NO. This game has a far more grounded feel to the shooting even when you're using sometimes silly weapons. Destiny might have the best gun play in all of shooters but it's still a certain style this game isn't even trying to replicate. This game straddles a line between sci-fi and tactical shooter feel and does it with some of the beefiest sounding and feeling guns in the genre. On their first go with shooting CDPR beat out so many others for me from Far Cry to Call of Duty to Crysis... it's probably not how everyone will feel, though, Far Cry certainly has its fanbase (though it's hard to admit the game feels more rewarding with stealth than gunplay usually) and obviously people love what Call of Duty offers, to me it's always felt too arcadey, the campaigns might be cinematic Michael Bay flicks and the multiplayer might be incredibly smooth but actually shooting people has never been top tier for me in CoD, like the McD's of shooters and Crysis is sort of similar in that it always felt more focused on having giant arenas full of options and physics and the best visuals going to the point where the actual shooting felt sort of secondary, though Crysis is my favorite shooter of the three I just listed for shooting I'd still slot it below Cyberpunk because despite CP being MORE open than Crysis the individual areas (including the NCPD monster nests) feel better designed for your shoot-outs, sometimes the open nature of Crysis felt aimless to me while still being a linear game essentially. If I were to come up with a shooter with potentially better shooting than CP2077 I'd probably have to go with Killzone 2? I'd need to play it again it's been a while but few games felt as good to shoot people in and watching their bodies contort as they're shot was gold, though they don't fly apart like in CP2077.

I don't think it's fair to compare the hacking mini-game to Gwent, btw, Gwent was legitimately a distraction you could put time into whereas the hacking mini-game has to be done to get through sections of the game if you're skills are hacking based. People might love Gwent but I wouldn't want my chances of success to be at Gwent levels every time I try to hack something.

Here's how to get loads of epic / legendary crafting materials quickly and for free. I don't know the exact drop % rate but I tried it 10 times and got legendary battery 8 times.

Step 1: go to this location on the map (Pacifica)

Step 2 (repeat as many times as you want):

Step 3: disassemble

I love pretty much all the guns. Only thing that bums me out is I never found a legendary Tech Shotgun on my last run through so hoping I find one this playthrough. Tech weapons are my fave

I don't mind it's simplicity as I do a ton of breach protocol or hacking in my play style. I didn't really start to get tired of it until around hour 55. I do wish there was variety in the mini games for some of the non-combat hacking though, since that can be a bit less tense in the moment.

Rage II, I would say, had some of the most satisfying gunplay in recent years. Plus you could mix it up with some player abilities on hand.
But Cyberpunk definitely has the best shooting mechanics outside of really top tier FPS games..even better than CoD, Borderlands, Crysis, Far Cry, etc. And add in all the stealth, environment, hacking options...it really is impressive what they did here.
If they improve stealth AI and fix some hacking/balancing issues, this will be my GOAT of First Person action/gameplay.

Just completed the River Ward romancing arc. You can tell the female V voice actress really enjoyed reading/acting out the dialogue for those conversations.

I think she did a great job as Female V. Have a feeling Male V’s voice acting won’t live up to that lofty standard on my second playthrough.
