No joke. Many of these offshoot Pacman games are fun. They are typically cheap to buy or even on sub plans.

Pacman 256, Pacman Championship 1 and 2. Probably some more I missed. Not the type of game to play for 2 hrs straight. But good games for a 20 minute break.

It’s a shame they’ve gone with selling the skins at launch rather than regular events to earn them. That was one of the things that kept me returning to Tetris 99.

It’s fun But it is no Tetris 99. The little pac mans that slow you down is nowhere near as satisfying as garbage blocks. After about 7 games I already had my fill. $15 for the unlock modes is way to much for what this is. Should be half that if not $5 as if they charge the whole $15 it better come with a Pac-Man / Pac-Man championship collection to play.

Pro Controller d-pad makes this impossible. Luckily there is a toggle for the analog stick which is set to off by default. More testing to come.

edit: much, much better. d-pad should be disabled by default, honestly and not the other way around.

But then the guys doing this start will be building up harder and harder tables on each other till one of them wins.

They do, Its the Red ghosted pac man that crop up. They build up and fill up the table.
