PS5, unless you are poor then you may go to XSX ( gamepass).

PS5 isn't $200 better than XSX.
Get a XSX.
Strongly think both are worth more.Neither are work higher than scalper prices unless you really need to play Returnal and Ratchet and such. If anything id hold off on buying either until after all the E3 stuff and possibly wait til this fall closer to when Halo and potentially Starfield are out. For XBOX you are literally buying into playing old games atm lol
What about framerate? You can actually get an S pretty easy right now. I don’t see the X as $200-300 better. Especially if your on 1080p.
Ok you must just be slow
Poster I quoted said GoW comes out this year
I said greatness awaits because it’s a play on the popular PlayStation tag line and in reference to that fact it will not come out in 2021.
Do you under stand now or need it one more time?
Honestly Switch is a pretty great console! I concur lol. Buy a Switch and then wait til you can get PS5/Series X lolAfter reading the opening post in great detail I think you should buy a Switch. Enjoy Nintendo's amazing portfolio of games.

But seriously for the OP ... why is simply waiting not an option. Is there something you cant wait to play or just HAVE to play you cant play on PS4 or older Xbox
Honestly in all seriousness had a go on my friends one and everything about the build quality screamed turbo cheap shit and pound shop special build quality wise, but the games were good and bought some nostalgia back.Honestly Switch is a pretty great console! lolXbox Series X
Just this one, dont bump the other 300 just like itXbox Series X
I also think they ”take turns” but this gen is not as clear cut as last gen. Both have their advantages, whereas last gen Xbox messed up in almost every aspect and became the laughing stock for everyone but the most hardcore fans. Sony isn’t perfect but they haven’t messed up nearly as bad.I have both, the xsex gets more playtime, not just because there's more to play on it but it is just a better experience. Better UI, better network services, nice design, better value, etc. This is how it goes though, they each take turns punching the other in the face every generation. Last generation PS4 rocked it, this time around it looks like MS has the better product.
So, I might be caving in and paying scalper prices for either an Xbox Series X or a PlayStation 5. I just don’t know which one I should get. The PS5 looks to be about $200 more on average. I do have more of a library on PlayStation, but I like the rewards system and GamePass on Xbox.
Games that are on coming out on both that I am interested in or have already been released (my most prioritized) are: Knockout City, Resident Evil: Village, Judgment (beat it on PS4 already), Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Lost Judgment, Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan, WWE 2K22, F1 2021, Back 4 Blood, Scarlet Nexus, and the AEW console game.
PS5 does have exclusives I want coming out like: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Guilty Gear: Strive, King of Fighters XV, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Final Fantasy VII: Remake Intergrade, Tales of Arise.
I’m just torn completely. I also prefer the XSX UI to the PS5 UI and I am not against trying to secure a console through regular means, but it’d be a bitch. So, flaming wars and fanboy crap aside, what do you think I should go with for my use case?
Thread is from May, i guess he already made his decision. For me its exclusives > anything else. GP is fantastic value, but there are more games at the other side.
Are there though? We are already seeing the fruits of Microsoft’s investment. For me its exclusives > anything else. GP is fantastic value, but there are more games at the other side.
To be honest, I keep hearing that PS5 owners cant even afford a VRR TV. Maybe they cant have good tech because they are being rinsed over $70 games and "directors cuts". hehe
