MS and Kojima are a bad bad match.

It's well documented how little MS supports/interferes with development. They just pay money and leave developers to do their own thing.

This is good for developers who are able to finish and ship games. But for Kojima, I think he will release game in next to next generation.

DS was shipped in super quick time.
Credit is given to GG decima engine, but still Kojipro made great use of it, something only a veteran team can do.

I'd personally like to see more but smaller games, like Ascent or Kena, I'm not that interested in AAA titles anymore since they don't offer much more than just pretty graphics.

Also would love to see the rumored Kojima game to be resurrected PT, coming exclusively to XB/PC, just to see the meltdowns/downplays/excuses.

Good if true. I’d guess FH5 in September, Halo in November and Starfield in March. Wolf 3 and Kojima a pair of wild cards that could release at any time, and chuck in Flight Sim and Psychonauts 2 and it’s starting to look like a pretty good end of the year/release plan.

Its a divisive game for sure, but Death Stranding is one of my fav games. Its a kinda slow burner, picks up towards the end of chapter 2, definitely picks up in chapter 3.

DS was everyone’s GotY for the first year, when the PC version was released I noticed a lot of people suddenly becoming very critical about how overrated it actually was, and a mediocre game. Since then every time there is a rumor about a Kojima Sony game, opinion seems to lean more toward his games being great and when there is a Kojima on Xbox rumor it seems that his games are overrated trash. DS was not everyone's game of the year. It literally was game of the year when it released, but it was one divisive game before it got to PC. The battle that year was DS vs RDR 2. That in itself caused alot of contention.

....you had ppl that didnt play it or have no intention of playing it complaining because they saw gameplay on youtube....

Outside of the OT's it was very divided. It got to the point where ppl were split complaining about him and the game.

Reddit and Klobrille ninjas are at it again. For quick context Klobrille has been leaking stuff since 2018 and has been very accurate for the last few years and tends to leak most of the E3 stuff for MS.

This is worth quoting just so it gets repeated. This isn't even remotely a leak. This is a small collection of rumors and one person's speculation being taken beyond its intent. That would be a pretty disappointing E3 for a first party anyways. One of the things that puts me off is the mention of IOI's rumored Xbox game. They just released Hitman 3 this year and they've been working on a James Bond game since last year. They're a studio of about 200 people. If they did announce such a game it would be yet another CG trailer with no idea when to expect it. I'm having a hard time believing they would have anything to show.

Dude, you really need to chill. Sony doesn't own Kojima. If the rumors are true they turned down a pitch from him same as Google. He can go where ever he wishes. You and I both know that the moment he makes another PlayStation game you'll be back to praising him. Sony has tons of games in the works, a lot of contracts with third parties, and they'll be perfectly fine if he makes an Xbox game.
