It does makes total sense. Some of the more hardcore just don't like to share their toys and it's really funny to watch the meltdowns.
Yeah, I don’t really care as long as they release an updated PS5 version as well.

I fear that they could though, I mean Horizon ZD hasn’t recieved a proper PS5 update and yet there is a PC version out that is much better than the PS4 version.

Maybe they will update it closer to the release of Forbidden West but it’s a bad look IMO.

I'd be surprised if they announce a PC port and not a PS5 port, with the fanfare that BB has, no way Sony would be that ignorant to how well that'd be received.

Man, we'll see about that.

More so, I wonder when the next Sony event will be. I'd imagine they'd wanna do something not TOO long after E3.

It would be hilarious if they announced a 60fps PS5 AND PC port at the same time. Fanboys would flip the fuck out.
Why? That makes zero sense.
You could flip it and say that PCMR would be crying for it if it wasn't announced. I really don't get these shitty takes.

so many ppl will eat crow in this forum is this happens. i said it plenty of times, its coming to PC for sure. Its just a matter of time.

i love bloodborne but i'm fucking sick of these rumors. i'm not expecting it to happen. if it does great but i'm not sitting about getting excited about it.

After playing sekiro with a perfectly paced 60 fps...I just want that for bloodborne.
sekiro at 140fps :messenger_ok:

but yeah i'll be happy if we get only 60fps for Bloodborne. From Software games aren't meant to be played at 30fps.

It's nice to have a remaster, mostly for those lonely PCMR guys but I would rather spend my money on BB2, timed exclusive to PS5. Rumor mill churning along.

Maybe a full remaster is the only way to get it running at 60 with the frame pacing issues with the original.

That and the $10 next-gen tax.

I would LOVE to see a BB2 announcement! PC release or not, just to know it exists and I'll eventually play it when I pick up a PS5 would be awesome. I'd be curious about the sales data, as it was critically acclaimed, but that doesn't always translate to sale through and it seems odd that Sony never released a Pro patch or hinted at a potential sequel in the mix. Feels like a BB sequel would have generated a lot more hype for a PS5 release than a Demon Souls remake. Does FromSoft co-own the rights or something?

I know I shouldn't allow myself to get excited for leaks and rumors...anything related to Bloodborne, honestly. It's my weakness though and I will reserve a bit of excitement, as always.

If anything Bloodborne is announced, either a patch, remaster, sequel, 'spiritual successor' or whatever, I will be a happy man. Would love a full remaster with a new trophy list so I'd have an excuse to chase the Platinum again.

Tim Rogers makes great content, but he's not currently in a position that would give him insider knowledge on something like this. Further based on the tweet itself it looks like he is just making an educated guess.

I hope he's right though. Honestly I'd be fine with just a simple performance patch, bloodborne still runs like hot garbage and it's a real shame to see a great game being held back by optimization. Patch it! let it sing!

It didn't take long for yet another Bloodborne leak/rumor. What is surprising this time is that is not for PC.

nah. it's just how weak the PS4 is. it's typical of the engine From Software use. it's simply not designed to be running games at 30fps. Dark Souls 3 had awful framerate/pacing on PS4 too. it was a bit better yeah but still a mess.

even on PC if you lock souls games to 30fps the pacing shits the bed. the games are designed to be run at 60fps.

if From Software were to patch the PS4 version of Bloodborne to make use of PS5 hardware by simply raising the framerate cap to 60fps it would run rock solid 60fps with consistent pacing. the game doesn't need a remaster to get better frame rate/pacing. it just needs to ditch the 30fps cap.

He did put $10 on the line....

Anytime someone puts $10 on the line I simply HAVE to believe them.

Reality don't get the passion for remakes, sell me that same game again?
it's nice to have old games updated but yeah that shit should be a free update. there's a difference between them patching the PS4 version to run better on PS5 and them releasing a PS5 exclusive game that you need to pay £70 for.

it's nothing but pure greed.

Only if it isn't a good remaster. If they do a lot of work to it and not just a bump in resolution, then it is worth paying a bit for it. Most remasters aren't $70 though.
