This. Not giving Ubisoft a dimeSo basically in a year or so when this fails to deliver any meaningful subscriptions it will be included with GamePass just like EA Play
its day1.If Ubisoft console games are day one on there, I might subscribe. Otherwise I won't.
its day1.
They are doing different tiers. I would wait for that one, since that one has a possibility for gamepass.Looks like they have a guaranteed subscriber. Keep in mind if Ubisoft+ comes to Xbox, it also means Xbox gets a cut of Ubisoft+ transactions conducted on its platform.
Yeah I was thinking of that. Are we moving towards having dozens of subscriptions for each publisher/dev?
Capcom+?
They have all dlc and all extra contents.I think many will try it, but outside of platform holders I don't see any of them making it work unless it is a very budget friendly back catalog type deal like EA Play. Unlike TV/Movies most of these companies just don't create enough content in a year to justify a $10/$15 mo. subscription filled with only their content. EA play works because at $30 a year you are basically even as long as you like to keep close to current on just one of the sports titles (still a lot of players on the sports games one year back).
Not to knock Ubi at all, but when I see what they generally release in a year, it surprises me that they have users paying $240/yr for that. Seems like you could spend less and just buy them all 45 or 60 days after release.
They have all dlc and all extra contents.

PC players would take that deal.

That price is justified for pc players. Since they dont pay for online, compared to console players.Someone in another thread was saying it was $20/mo. Even at $15/mo., I don't think they release enough to justify the price. Eventually, when your vault is relatively static, which all publisher specific libraries would be, it comes down to what is getting released on it every year. For a die-hard Ubisoft player that is going to buy every expansion and buy every release day one, there can be some value there. In order to hit the masses you really need enough new content in a year so that the service is a good value even if each user is only interested in 15 - 20% of the content offered.
With that said it's good to have the option on Xbox for those that want it. Maybe in the future you might see some bundle promotions where you can save a couple bucks if you already have GP or something like that. Options are always good.
It's a day one AAA release, isn't it? I know nothing about it but I might try it. It's free after all!
If Miles is AAA game, then its AAA game. Both were dlc for their respective games, but released as a full game. It's a day one AAA release, isn't it? I know nothing about it but I might try it. It's free after all!
You don't buy ubi games? For $300+ annually you will be able to enjoy over 1,000 games you already owned, played years before. But will also enjoy future classics like the upcoming Ass.Creep after BallaBalla and The Subtraction, the long-awaited sequel to The Division french-ice.
O-M-F-G, YEEEEESSSS!!
All they have to do is cut down on the crazy sales, and BINGO! Price increase.Doubt that will happen without a significant pricing hike with Game Pass.
I just picked up Black Flag for dirt cheap. There's no reas to subscribe to a Ubisoft service when pretty much every game they make is $20 within months. It's cheaper to wait and buy the few you want To play after they've fixed them.
Agreed. I play one Ubisoft game every two years and still feel like that's too much.I honestly don’t know how anyone can stomach these bloated ass games much less want access to dozens upon dozens of them
They are doing different tiers. I would wait for that one, since that one has a possibility for gamepass.
Still, I wouldnt sub to it. Its not worth it. They dont have interesting IPs. And their good IP gets cheap over time.

These are their ultimate edition after 1 year.
This normal game price
Also, their games are filled with fillers. 1 month isnt enough to finish it.
You don't buy ubi games?
It's a day one AAA release, isn't it? I know nothing about it but I might try it. It's free after all!
They have plenty of games I want access to, but didn't buy. Or planned to buy, but didn't yet. This changes that. I'll wait for the subscription and save myself some money, and in the process I'll get access to a much larger set of games, things I may not have ever given a try. For just $15 per month that's more than worth it.
You never really gave a shit, just like me.They have plenty of games I want access to, but didn't buy. Or planned to buy, but didn't yet. This changes that. I'll wait for the subscription and save myself some money, and in the process I'll get access to a much larger set of games, things I may not have ever given a try. For just $15 per month that's more than worth it.
Are you paying for the game?
WTaF? You're paying for both, you millenial entitled dumbass. Are you paying for the game?
If not, then it's free.
Same as how you dont pay for netflix movies.
I would recommend the pc one. Pc has more games, than the console one. Unless xbox supports every ubisoft games. They have plenty of games I want access to, but didn't buy. Or planned to buy, but didn't yet. This changes that. I'll wait for the subscription and save myself some money, and in the process I'll get access to a much larger set of games, things I may not have ever given a try. Let me repeat it again.WTaF? You're paying for both, you millenial entitled dumbass.
IF IT'S INCLUDED WITH THE SUBSCRIPTION...YES!!!Let me repeat it again.
ARE YOU PAYING FOR THE GAME?
AgainIF IT'S INCLUDED WITH THE SUBSCRIPTION...YES!!!
We're at a ridiculously black hole dumbass impasse. Good day, sir.Again
ARE YOU PAYING FOR THE GAME?
did you just out yourself as a boomer?WTaF? You're paying for both, you millenial entitled dumbass.
I outed myself as an educated individual as to what my hard-earned dollars go towards; generations do not apply.did you just out yourself as a boomer?
then why use a "generation" as a pejorative?generations do not apply.
Since you didn't answer, I will tell you. We're at a ridiculously black hole dumbass impasse. Good day, sir.
Well, I'm implying to ANYONE that believes they deserve that which they have not earned as theirs. If that implied 'millennials' as opposed to 'anyone that believes that bullshit', then consider this my sincerest apologies.then why use a "generation" as a pejorative?
Wow. Very hard earned dollar. Sorry buddy, but time doesn't care about your education.I outed myself as an educated individual as to what my hard-earned dollars go towards; generations do not apply.
There will always be a device that can play what I've purchased, as long as it is physical.Wow. Very hard earned dollar. Sorry buddy, but time doesn't care about your education.
The game that you spent your hard earned 60$, cost 5$ in 3 years.
All you do, is ignore the new change.
I am waiting for all these smart people, who claim about owning their games, when they realize all they own is just shit license, and not the product that is on their disc. And that product will be gone, once the device that can play it, doesn't work anymore.
It's coming to GamePass or just Xbox? I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay a monthly fee just to rent Ubisoft games.
I believe you moved the goal post from paying to buying the game. In that case he was initially right. A subscription service is paying for the game.Since you didn't answer, I will tell you.
You are paying for the service. You aren't paying for the games. You are paying access to these games.
You dont own anything on that service.
Its like going to a Cafe, and renting the computer. You don't own the computer, you just have access to it, for a certain period.
Hence, the Question. "Did you buy the game".
You are getting those games for free. You can play any games on those service. You just have to have the card, that let's you play it.
