and my point on what that showcase did. There's nothing big this fall for xbox which sucks, also where the fuck was halo update? I mean if your happy gamepass subscriber there's a good amount to look forward too specifically next year. But if you dont have an xbox and have been on the fence which is still a lot of people, then this showcase did nothing to move that needle.
I did get a No Man's Sky vibe as soon as the laser cutter came out.
That’s an incredibly weak 2022 imo. No exclusive AAA. Still the show beat the pants off of Sonys State of play.

That was a non-announcement. No one is pulled in from that specific segment. If he had shown SOMETHING and it looked good, I would've been in, as I am a huge fan of his work on the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

Shows how different tastes are. I couldn't disagree more with what you said. Psychonauts 2 was a much better game than Ratchet. Horizon Forbidden West was a mediocre open world barely better than the latest Ubisoft games. All recent output by Arkane or ID are far more interesting than most Sony first party. Obsidian makes the best western rpgs around. And on a technical level. nothing matches FS Flight Simulator. Than you add The Coalition, Turn 10 and Playground, and you've got an incredible number of great studios. I'm more excited for the upcoming Microsoft games, even though, historically, I've been more heavily invested in the Sony ecosystem. Still, I am very much looking forward to God Of War Ragnarok.

. Second, I love that you could only think of something of substance about RE4. The better thing about it is the lack of substance. It has been released across couple console generations, this ain't that. If you've heard of the recent REmakes Capcom has released, I'd put those closer to that except even better looking than the PS3 version. Sure, it's multiplat, but that was about the announcement.

HIGH ON LIFE is really the only big new title, Plague tale is a nice title but it pales to something like MW2, Hogwarts, God of war.

This is a stretch though. TloU was released on PS3 and the PS4 version was just a HD remaster/port because the system wasn't BC. This remake isn't going to be the same game.
Yeah, it's kinda crazy that in the second year of the new console generation, not a single 1st party exclusive is coming out. I don't count TLOU1R2 because the only reason it's not on PS4 is that TLOU1R1 exists.
