Good luck for those who prefer Series S.

Naughty dog are undisputed gods when it comes to animation but have flattened into one genre and their huge success has unluckily influenced the entire Sony lineup for several years. I hope to see them try other genres at least to be able to judge them qualitatively. I have very few doubts about the success that Starfield will have especially going up that it will also launch on PC. Neogaf's narrative that nobody wants to buy a console for this game shouldn't surprise anyone a bit as neogaf's 900 votes rate the Ms conference sufficiently versus the 111 thousand votes of the pool made by Geoff Keighley where we see it rated 10 and 9 by majority. We know the reasonsTheyre not the same thing, true. But the argument I'm making is that even games that aren't open world rpgs now are fairly open and have some rpg elements.
Basically that Bethesda niche has been encroached on. And at the same time they haven't advanced like the others have.
The main thing they're pushing here that no one else is doing is scale. Starfield is definitely much bigger than I expected if their claims are true. Im still psyched to play it.
Not the best survey, the warriors wouldn't get a Xbox if it could print money and attract hot chicks. Surey should contain Pc + Streaming.
Most of neogaf nerds already have an Xbox or gamepass on PC even if they will never admit it. Trust me the enthusiasts will all play StarfieldWell this is good news. It appears the worst of the trolls not only wouldn't buy an Xbox to play it, they like Bethesda games and/or have never played their games and won't play it on their gaming PCs.
Since they won't be playing Starfield they won't have any reason to be trolling all the Starfield threads and telling those of us that love Bethesda games, how bad it is.
Is it possible that the trailer was bad?
No, it's the fan boys who are wrong!
hell I sold my series x and ps5 lol. I'm ok waiting a few years to play PlayStation games on PC.I am sure many PS players have PCs as thats the perfect combo imo
Wont be long and you wont have to wait on them but thats for another threadhell I sold my series x and ps5 lol. I'm ok waiting a few years to play PlayStation games on PC.

All Playstation gamers have gaming PC's.
My expectation is that the bulk of them will be mostly barren other than being places you go to scrounge for minerals and crafting supplies. They're going to be there to support grinding. I hope I'm wrong."1000 planets".
Uh-huh, like a planet's worth of content isn't enough?
Claims like this should set alarm bells off, because there's literally no way that any developer can split focus and manpower 1000 ways without there being a real cost to the quality of output.
Even if everything is procedurally generated, just doing basic playtesting on 1000 iterations of the same structure is a huge time-sink that inevitably is going to resolve to creating an acceptable "average" result across the spread.
Not saying that its going to suck, just making a strong suggestion that expectations should be adjusted. Just consider what the reality of the proposition being made is.
did you play no man's sky recently? from what you writing I'm not sure you did it. I highly recommend you take a look at it"1000 planets".

No it isn't but I assure you that if you try NMS today you would never complain about "there is nothing to do" or "it's all the same" but we are talking about NMS I expect from Bethesda another level of interactivity since they are still the undisputed kings of the genre. So, a planet in NMS is on par in terms of content depth and detail to Skyrim or Fallout?
This is my point about expectation management.
I mean i just watched DrDisrespect literally salavating over the deep dive a couple of hours ago, and i honestly cant remember the last time he's been anything but negative when watching that kind of preview content. It's funny because we all know for a fact that if this game was a Sony-exclusive, most of the people ITT would be singing the games praises. It's wild to me how silly shit like brand loyalty breaks brains of grown men.
You dont need to guess as it shows in the video. The planets will obviously be procedural, but have 2 or 3 'points of interest' to explore, while having resources and stuff scattered about. If you look you can see them in the vid when Todd is explaining. My expectation is that the bulk of them will be mostly barren other than being places you go to scrounge for minerals and crafting supplies. They're going to be there to support grinding. I hope I'm wrong.
