Working on itany summary?
To be honest the PAL version stuff wouldn't bother me much if they just let the console output 50Hz to match at least
Called it. I mean, it was obvious this was gonna happen.
Extra it is, not gonna pay a cent more until they allow us to choose 60hz versions of the classic games.
Edit:
Ah, nice. So we'll see when that happens and which games will be covered.
Just to clarify, Extra lets you stream PS4 games, right?
Premium gives you access to PSOne, PS2, PSP, and PS3 games?
I don't care for the 'classics', I just want to be able to download/stream PS4 games.
As long as its still streaming, this will always be the best option.Get a PS3 if you want classics.
Okay, even better, I'm just going to sign up for a yearly Extra subscription.Extra lets you DOWNLOAD PS4 games, not stream.
Its the 6th post and I made a separate thread just in case it was missed. Think thats enough. Also more people have seen it here than the separate thread I made.Shouldn't you put that in the OT and change title?... For people who don't read the all thread

Today I tested the cloud gaming again after a lot of time with Darkstalkers Ressurrection and I got surprised with the input lag and image quality. It seems highly improved since the last time I tried it, now many people wouldn't notice the streaming with a connection like mine. In the short couple of matches I got the performance was pretty much perfect. I never thought it was going to be possible with a Street Fighter-like game via cloud gaming.
Great news. Let's hope that in addition to this they fix their 60Hz patch for the remaining PAL games.
They can fix it. Others emulators fix it with a 60Hz patch for PAL games. In the original PS1 and PS2 consoles the pirates also patched the games or released boot leader discs that patched them. They can't really "fix it", the games are hardcoded to run at 50hz, which is simply incompatible with the 60hz output of the PS5. It will never be smooth. The only proper fix would be to let the console output at 50hz. The games would still run 17% slower than the NTSC versions, but at least with consistent frame delivery.
Get a PS3 if you want classics.
Ok and which handhelds can run PS3 games?
Who the fuck sets up a Ps3 for Ps1 'classics'. Most shitty handhelds can run them at this point, it's a shame Sony cant get them to run on a Ps5
Will Stray only be free for Premium?
I'm pretty sure Stray is for Extra. Will Stray only be free for Premium?

will the tv's even support a 50hz output?
ok then that could be a good solution.Yes, of course they do. All European TVs support both 50 and 60hz (or 100/120).
Yes you do disc install are diffrent to downloads they have diffrent licenses.I tried to play Demon's Souls and Spiderman MM but it's still asking for the disc, have you got to delete and download the whole game again?

You are best running ps1 games on series x/s through duckstation now.Ok and which handhelds can run PS3 games?
As stated by another user the PS1 can be emulated on a Nokia brick phone in 2022 however the PS3 is still superior as it plays PS3 games natively. You are best running ps1 games on series x/s through duckstation now.
