Snitch was the first to break the news. This was a targeted leak of a fake scoop to figure out who the leaker was. SMS pretty much confirmed they know who it is now. Snitch got the bait, leaked it, and then Jason and Tom Henderson jumped on the bandwagon to share in the dopamine hit of new Twitter followers and attention.

Sony isn't going after them because they know that's what they were doing. They got their leaker now and that was the goal of the whole thing.

I mean the Snitch probably isn't even the leaker himself, just the clout chaser on social media using the leaks to build his followers. Companies do this a lot with leakers, more so on the movie side of things. If they suspect someone of leaking and violating a NDA they'll give them something like this announcement date to see if it leaks out. The leaker thinks it's real and will give it to their person on the outside, not knowing it was a setup to expose them to their bosses.

They probably built it around todays announcement to make it seem believable. They could release that trailer whenever they wanted to but they kept that a secret.

As for Jason I really do believe he had legit sources since they gave him the release month which he nailed and doubled down on. Don’t think that was a lucky guess on his part.

The language is generic

"The change means that anyone who sends a photo or film of a person’s genitals, for the purpose of their own sexual gratification or to cause the victim humiliation, alarm or distress may face up to two years in prison."

so yeah it would include the genitals of either sex, and I guess not even necessarily their own.

I mean theres usually a big difference between the label price and the actual price. Depending on how egregious it was, who the judge is, who the victim is, who the perpetrator is, who the lawyer is. The 'maximum' term is 2yr, but I very much doubt that would be given out often. Being put on the sex offenders list tho would be a lot more common, something you can also end up on for urinating in public when drunk (if you are unlucky).

As we've seen with all the craziness at Activision, good layers and a bit of £££ people get away with all sorts.

great FIFA 23 trailer with literally 2 seconds of gameplay taken from a replay camera instead of showing an actual match with bullshit hype words like hypermotion. Every year the keepers and players are supposed to get more realistic movement/passes/saves/... I'm playing FIFA 22 on gamepass lately and it's the exact fucking game from FIFA 21 lol.

Glad they lost the license.

I don't think they lost the license. They just were not willing to pay more for it.
