Meh. The vast majority of video game Hollywood stuff seems terrible. Uwe Boll being supposedly the worst.

As for Gears, the allure of the game sis outright blood and gore splashing around. If the NF adaption cuts it down, it'll be a shit series.

It's like Punisher. What a borefest. You dont even need a giant budget for that series because Punisher isnt a CGI flying superhero to begin with. It could just be a down to earth series but with over the top brutality. But it was tame as hell.

- 10 minutes of flashbacks to his dead wife
- 20 minutes of him in hideouts planning his attacks
- 20 minutes of side character plots
- 5 minutes of action scenes
