Awesome. I wonder if it will be possible to mod in spell creation?

I believe this is a mock-up UI this guy is planning on doing? Not quite sure of the details...
All I can say is FUCK YES - it does have a somewhat "web-page" feel to it. But it addresses a lot of the issues I'm having with the UI right now, and houses a lot of information that is nice to see.
Thoughts?

Looks amazing. I hope at some point they can do mods like that.

I see people referencing MSAA a lot as well but I don't see an option for that...
Right now I just set it to 32x CSAA for no reason really. I can already tell it looks better than FXAA but my PC could handle more if it's available.
Thanks.
Yeah or at least make 9 and 0 available for hotkeying.Moaradin said:Is there a mod that adds more hotkeys? 1-8 is way too little for any RPG. I want to use Shift+1, Alt+1, etc.

Make a profile for Skyrim.
Modify your settings to look exactly as shown below.

A Large Address Aware patch to the TESV.exe is essential for safe uGrids tweaking, and even then the results are entirely subject to your system specs and the drive you're running the game from. You're totally overloading the game's streaming system by doing this, so you'll probably need the entire game installed on an SSD for stability and performance. The aforementioned exe is a 32bit application that can't, by default, use more than 2gb of RAM. This is insufficient. By following this (very simple) method, you can give Skyrim full access to all the RAM it needs, provided you have enough:

Do we target the launcher or TESV.exe?

Try this ini. Replace the name of the GPU, and set your resolution, make sure to go into options in game and set your mouse speed and such.I'm having a weird issue with my system:
i7-620m (3.2ghz)
5870m (1gb)
4GB
Win7 64-bit
In certain areas I get stuttering mouse movements. It seems to me this happens when there are either quite a lot of light sources or a lot of fog (alpha stuff?). The weird thing is that when I use my gamepad to move my viewpoint there is no stuttering.
I have tried various mice with different polling rates and all kinds of ini configurations (from low to high). iPresentInterval=0, iFPSClamp=30 didn't fix it either. It's not the lag you get from VSYNC.
The easiest place to test this is the Nightcaller Temple near Dawnstar. The first room as you enter the temple is the most problematic. Just turn your mouse slowly and you'll notice
Mairu said:Is there a guide for any of these ini modifications yet? I haven't done anything other than set my FOV and since I'm starting to slow down in my play of the game it'd be nice to see how good I could get it looking.
System is an i5-750 @ 3.6 w/ gtx-460 if that helps ;o

There's no way to play the game through steam if I do ini modifications?Velz said:theres no one definitive guide yet, they are posted in bits and pieces all over the place for now, plus theres ones that people somehow know to add into them that don;t exist, for example i couldnt stand how grass swayed like it was constantly being blown around, so someone showed me a line to add to tweak how much the grass sways.
try that ini i posted above. i have an i5 2500k and a gtx 560ti. that ini is the absolute best mix of quality and performance, no jagged shadows or anything. I have AA off though because im forcing it through nvidia inspector (get it if you dont already and set it to how I have it int he pic below) and I'm also forcing on ambient occlusion which eats up a load of FPS but worth it if it means i have to keep AA on low. Fxaa is nice to soften the pixelated look at mid and long range, looks more real with it on.
After pasting this ini , don't use the launcher or it will rewrite some things. And remember you have to set your resolution in there manually and paste your GPU's name in there as it appears in device manager (replace my 560 ti)

Theres absolutely nothing in there thats going to break your game. It was created using http://donotargue.com/cfg-makers/skyrim/. Just back up the one youre using now and if you dont like mine for whatever reasons, just replace them, or delete mine and then use the launcher and it will make you a brand new default one.Ledsen said:Could you specify exactly what you changed in that .ini? I'd rather not use tweaks if I don't know what they are
if anything youd want a tungsten filter on it, that simulates daylight, not saturated greenInertiaXr said:I've never seen trees in my life that look anywhere near closer to the top image than the bottom.
