Hmm, wiki site I'm looking at is only showing that is is achievable, not any tips for it. I'll try that out though

We don't know what they will be doing this year. But I wouldn't worry about getting the achievements early as some of them are impossible NOT to get.
Change the background colour to grey or black.

The Toki Tori achievement during the summer sale was my favorite of that bunch. The way they took existing levels and added this new objective that had to be accomplished in a totally different way seems like the kind of thing that could only have been in the game all along and waiting for that moment.
The current Toki Tori achievement is almost that fun, but its emphasis on speed is at odds with the loose and finicky controls. The controls do not do precision. But I've got nine of the ten snowflakes and I'm going to give the last one a while yet before I give up and look at a guide.

The drop rate on first maps is exponentially larger than that on later maps, so just keep doing first maps.
Hasn't been added to Steam yet, only in-game to make sure it works. Just wait and try when it is in the achievement list.
Quick question about these achievements... Do those who get them get entered into a drawing like these daily giveaways there already are? Or is there is there a specific goal that if you reach you will get something?

Nope, I did it from the safe room on the first floor through the "battle" menu and it unlocked.
I just did the same thing again, this time without taking any damage, and got the achievement. Who knows, might have been a glitch or I was too slow the first time. No matter.
I took damage in the fight and got it.
Uninstalling it this time will feel really good, though! I like it better when it's just a poker game, and not a goddamned slot machine.

I've got 25 achievements so far. Left 4 Dead 2, Swords & Soldiers HD, and Poker Night at the Inventory + Free2Play games are the only ones left that I own and are unlockable at the moment. I hope more of them become available either tomorrow or Monday, since I'll be on vacation during almost the entire duration of the sale.
I got the the two BEAT ones. JINGLE.BELLS is as easy as they get. MEAT BOY SMELLS was a bit harder; the game really isn't meant to be played with a gamepad.
Really easy to get, got it less than 1 minute into Descent. Just play normally.
Sounds like it'll probably get cheaper, I'd only get it right now if you were sure you'd rip into it right now too.
