All the prequel movies are all great, 2 is the weakest.

If you want to get into this I will, but I'm warning you... I don't stop once I've started

There is honestly and literally NOTHING you can say that would change my mind.

There is not a single thing. Not even one. Like a really small one good thing to come out of the prequels. Nothing at all.

Not only are they bad movies. They're poorly written and poorly executed.

What's wrong with your faaaaaaaceeeeeee?

I'm not out to change your mind, I'm sad that you're wrong though :(.

FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THE JEDI ARE EVIL

WELL THEN YOU ARE LOST! I don't have a problem with these lines, the entire sequence of "Battle of the Heroes" is fantastic. I can go on if you guys want me too. Also, I have absolutely no problem with Jar Jar, I laugh at him, and I still do!

You're off my friends list, I hope you know that. I also reported you to the cyber police and punched my dog in the teeth because of that post.

I don't get it. If the high ground matters so much then why was Obi-Wan able to defeat Darth Maul at the end of Episode One?
Obi-Wan wants to protect him. You saw what happened. If Anakin hadn't jumped, he wouldn't have lost his legs. That's how I interpret the scene always.

A New Hope is still one of my favorite movies of all time. Endlessly rewatchable. Empire is a great sequel and excels in its own different way. Jedi is a decent end to the trilogy, save for the walking teddy bears Lucas wanted to sell to children.

It's a shame they never revisited that franchise. Probably for the best though (currently watching the Plinkett review of Indy 4).

I don't know how to make this post relate to Halo without typing out a huge wall of text. I'll just trust Halo 4 will keep the midichlorians to a minimum.

Anakin: Your skin is so soft, so smooth... /actualdialogue

See my above post, I don't think George Lucas can write love scenes, I don't think they were good in the original trilogy either.

In his defense that line about sand is pretty boss.

Indy 4 was great too, I point anyone who didn't like that towards Roger Ebert's review of it.

oh and by the way Nuking the fridge was Steven Spielberg idea! . Why did people have an issue with that though? In the first one he held on to a para scope of a submarine over the entire english channel o_O

He did write a love scene. But he can't write a decent one. :p

All I can say is without breaking my Sci-Fi heart with Episode 1, I wouldn't love Halo like I do today.

I still, disagree.

I'll tell you one thing, George Lucas can't write a love scene, he couldn't in the original's either.

Lucas couldn't write a provoking sentence with the words in front of him. He is a horrible overlord to the SW universe, We would be much better with it being led by a group of talented EU writers from the past

Timothy Zahn
Troy Denning
Karen Traviss
Drew Karpyshyn

Blame my low midi-chlorian count.

There we go.

Roger Ebert is an idiot btw. He said the SW prequels were good movies and video games can't and shouldn't be considered an art form.

Also, you only like bad stuff. Why u so sad?

Guys look, I don't think the prequels are as good as the original trilogy, save Return of the Jedi, that is on the same level I believe. They are great movies in my opinion, and episode 2 is the worst of them all, but still good.

You know what is really good Star Wars?

The new Clone Wars Telivision show. Now I'm not talking about that shitty movie, that was actually the first episodes stitched together. It has gotten increasingly amazing since the shows broadcast.

The recent story, or the 4 episode "Umbara Ark", almost at movie lengths time was fantastic. A story that features almost exclusively the clones. In fact one of the episodes with the majority of the fighting was directed by the sound designer from Apocalypse now. The animation is breathtaking, the characters, are fantastic.

The combination of George Lucas and David Filioni is a magic one if you ask me. I love what they have done with the clones, all technically the same person, but they are all so unique. It's not just a "kids show" and watching this ark you really get that picture

They have touched on some pretty big issues, Slavery, God, Meaning of the Universe. Its just so good.

There we go.

Alright, now Indy 4 is not as good as Raiders, or the Last Crusade, it is better than the temple of doom though.

I think Indy 4 did an amazing job of being relevant for the time period it takes place in, spot on in fact. People like to bash the fridge scene, but honestly, I think that scene is pretty good, it wasn't meant to be taken that seriously, Indiana Jones isn't something you are supposed to take that seriously...

What's funny to me is the older people who say the prequel trilogy is fun for kids were kids when the original trilogy came out and that's when they fell in love with SW. All of the movies are child like really, I don't see the problem. I was pretty young when Episode 1 came out, and I loved it at the time, it's not held up that well, but it still has the best lightsaber duel. :p

I liked the original Star Trek TV show with Shattner for its cheesiness, but the other stuff, meh.

I have a theory that we like them more then we think we do, but the haters influenced us when we were young.

Note when I was young, in 1999 before episode 1 came out, I saw the three originals in the theaters.

I love Star Trek as well! Enterprise is my favorite, regardless of what people say. I grew up with that as not the first Star Trek I ever saw, but I remember rushing to finish my homework so I could go watch Star Trek with my dad and his friend.

And people complain about my posts in this thread.

I'll probably be at PAX East for at least a day. Not sure what day though.

Season 1 of Deep Space Nine is one of the worst seasons to a television show EVER.

It got a lot better though.
