Feeling the suit, myself. Looks like it has more functionality, less hollywood halloween esque. Will be interested to see that scene where they try to realistically explain how he could design it though.

Hoping the fights a 24/7 quip fest too. That would be dope.

Also hoping that wasn't the climax in the trailer. Reboot's gonna nee more juice than a bridge and sky scraper night battle, I think.

That's kind of my impression of the movie in general right now, seems good, but needs a little extra OOMPH to put it over the top.

Totally forgt this was coming out this summer so this was a pleasant surprise. Andrew Garfield certainly has the body type for the character and I'm glad that the quips are in. From the little we've seen, it feels more like the character this time around.

I don't like the atmosphere in this new Spiderman. Also webslinging Spidey CG still looks crappy. Maybe I will like it once I see the movie though.

Thoughts:

-Liked the suit and the attitude.

-Lizard isn't great but I'll live with it.

-Andrew Garfield reminds me of Kal Penn aka Kumar from Harold and Kumar.

-It actually reminded me a little too much of Raimi's films, I wanted to get futher away from that.

I honestly don't know what to feel. I think the action scenes will be cool but I feel no attachment to the characters. I just see them on screen and almost cringe. It just feels so off. I don't know how to put it.

Doubt it will happen in this movie, but the ending (I think) will definitely be leading into Osborn, even without showing his face. Gonna make a great sequel if they do GG right.

Yeah, all in all it seems more 'real' than fanciful, versus the first movie. Also, Parker actually being SMART is awesome, and the suit is good imo, definitely the right route in terms of what they're trying to pull off.

Yeah, i've definitely already seen this a few weeks ago on facebook. With enough advertisements though, the mind can be flushed of anything. (lol)

Anyway, when the hell is Apple going to put up an HD version to DL, come on!! Also, seems like the majority in here is liking it, and those who don't just find it 'meh' and not horrific.

One thing I noticed in the trailer is just the saturation and brightness of colors. It's like everything is lit by neon. Especially in the scenes where he's swinging around the city. Kinda strange. But cool, actually.

But seriously, the inclusion of Oscorp is a huge foreshadow to Osborn being a prominent figure in ASM2. It's gonna happen, Green Goblin all over again, it's just too perfect and in sync with the comics not to.

We didn't need a new (reboot) spiderman so quickly. But I'm gonna watch it. Don't think the action scenes look as good as the old ones.

Again, what did you expect them to do? Bring Tobey and Raimi back for Spider-Man 4, this time with 10 bad guys? Businesses don't want to lose rights to money-printer properties. Their only other choice was to re-cast and go for a slightly different tone to see if it sticks with audiences. I think they've set up the pieces about as well as they can from the looks of this trailer.

Where is the wise-cracking Spider-Man we all know and love? But hey its a trailer, you cant judge an entire movie just by a trailer. There is a lot of critique on Andrew Garfield playing Spider-Man, but imho he fits the role perfectly. The question i have is if he can play it perfect too. We shall see. :)

Looks better than Spiderman 1+2+3

Lizard looks stupid, but I guess it's a welcomed change as a villian.
Looking forward.


Emma Stone looks hot with blonde hair.

That scene with the police reminded me a a lot of this scene in the Ult. comics;

In the preview i saw there was a lot more of the typical wise cracking spiderman in the scene with the goon/bad guy in the car not shown in the trailer

hopefully the CG will still be worked on before the release as it looked pretty awful

regardless, its spiderman and im always down for that and emma stone

I think Garfield looks perfect as Spiderman and Peter Parker, hair aside. Not too keen on the villain though. My first thought was "Who?". But then again I'm not well versed in Spiderman's villains except Green Goblin, Venom, and Carnage.

Everything looks perfect about this film.
Emma Stone as Gwen, Andrew Garfield totally looks like Peter Parker and in big part to his hairstyle I would say. Lizard looks great and all slimy. Wisecracks, smart Peter and wonderful shots and action scenes! The swinging is intense. Love it.

I just want Kraven or Morbius in one of the sequels.
