Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 |OT| Got 99 Problems, But Sales Ain't One.

Yeah, that's more of what I meant. Catering to the particular game mode. I know K/D shouldn't matter in a mode like Domination but seeing that stat can (maybe subconsciously) change the way a person plays.

I should be getting my copy of MW3 next week so I guess I'll see. :)

Pre-game you can do it, under Barracks (when you do get it of course!) just head to leaderboards, pick the board you want to see and filter the results. But the thing with that is that it can take ages when each lobby is timed and such, so you don't always get to gauge how the game is going to work out.

For those of you playing on console, what do you have your sensitivity set to?

Between 4 and 7.

It's so weird, when I'm in the "zone" as it were, I can run around on 7 like a headless chicken and do really well, but when I'm having a bad run of games and I need to slow down, I'll put it on around 4 or 5 and it makes me feel more in control again.

What's the highest? 10?

I'm on the highest, still not enough.

Wow i used to be on 3 for the longest time and just changed it to 4. Whenever I go higher it feels like im out of control. lol

I have my mouse set to a ridiculous sensitivity in general; I'm just used to running around like a madman.

Maybe I'd drop it to 1 when I'm sitting on my bum overlooking B Flag.

Edit: I have an issue with the 360 sticks, maybe that's why I want it to be more sensitive. Find there's a noticeable deadzone with the 360 sticks.

Oh god, ever since that fucking patch I keep getting input lag, I used to turn around and move around the levels so easily but now its pure crap.

Every COD game so far I've stuck at 4 sensitivity. Although I've been playing MW2 (Spec-Ops) again and I've experimented playing at 7. It was fun and it seemed like I could handle it.

Of course it's different playing against real people so I'll probably keep on playing at 4. I've also recently switched over from the default button layout to the tactical layout. It takes a little adjustment to not click the right stick to melee but I think in the end it'll be better for me.

10...and sometimes I feel that isn't enough.

Thats apples and oranges though. If you see enemies, then pick a nice spot to kill them as they come round the corner. Your there for what maybe 10 seconds? If you know your in a bad position and moving is going to get you killed your still there for what maybe 30 seconds till a opportunity to escape pops up? Those situations happen maybe twice a match. If your going to pick a area of the map to defend because you know its a high traffic area, be honest, are you just staring at a window and a door or are you actually defending a significant bit of real estate on the map? On some maps it makes sense to hold down a specific area, but that doesn't just mean your only traversing around a tiny 20 meter squared spot on the map.

Of course there are times when it makes sense to stay still somewhere, but at its extreme your never stuck somewhere for longer than a few minutes at most. If your honestly telling me that it still makes sense to watch that specific spot on the map rather than try and move and flank where the action has moved to then I just dont see how you can justify that. In that video him staying where he stayed didn't make sense unless he was just there for his K/D ratio.

So yeah while the definition of camping is hard to define and isnt black and white, its pretty easy to know where you sit on the scale if you analyse why your staying in a spot.

Btw I'm not trying to defend the guy. Just trying to point out that it takes some skills to lock down an area, and it takes more than staring at the door, which is the classic definition of camping and it's a terrible way.

Just played a game where I couldn't call in my Reaper. Kept getting "Airspace too crowded" message, despite there being NOTHING in the air. Anyone else had this glitch?

Quick tip: Normally, Sleight of Hand has no effect in speed on switching between the different optics for the Hybrid/HAMR Sight, but if you start sprinting then switch between optics, SoH takes effect and reduces the switch time. An interesting glitch?

Yep.

So, is Modern Warfare 3 worth €39.90?

I liked MW2 but I didn't like how unbalanced the killstreaks were, and I didn't like Black Ops at all.

For everything they improved about the game, there are things that got worse.

There's far less bullshit now, but it's still there with some weapons. Killstreaks aren't as dominant either.

However, the maps are far worse than previous games and if you get given host then you'll be sure to enjoy shooting someone 5 times for them to turn around and kill you in 1 hit.

Just finished up both prestige challenges for stun and flash. Flash was pretty annoying cause when I thought I flashed someone, apparently I didn't. Took longer than stun.

Would love to get the emblem for killing 2 or more enemies with a claymore 50 times but that is based on luck unless someone can tell me a good way to accomplish this.

Wow, what different spaces we live in. If we saw anybody cower away from objectives like that to protect their own personal streaks, we'd unfriend them so fast the internet would collapse.

In MW2 though, did you use them combined with Stopping Power?

I would bet the damage is probably similar in both games if that Perk was not used.

It depends on connections too. Even PP90 in close range, it takes 5-6 hits to kill sometimes. It's pretty crazy to see hit markers after hit markers.

No I dont rely on stopping power.

I have noticed alot of lag(not me) in matches where I get Crazy hit markers. The game takes forever to find a better host. :/

If anyone will be up for the next 3-4 hours my clan and I will be running for MOAB's and we usually need to pick up 1 or 2 people. If you can hold your own and play well with a team you should be fine. We will be playing sabotage, btw this is on xbox.

I know L86 w/ Grip and Thermal led to little to no recoil, didn't know about the MK46. Anyway, this is really old.

Yeah, november old. lol

Worth a try though.

Haven't used any LMG here in MW3. Oh wait, I tried one of the default classes. lol

MW2's AUG on the other hand was pretty great.

I made a mini team montage of my 4v4 competitive MW3 team. Most of the clips are from Gamebattles matches, some from euesports matches.

I think it's worth a watch. Not too extreme on the editing front, my editing skills, and software aren't quite their yet.

Would appreciate if you want to give it a like/subscribe. If you like it. Cheers.
