Arrows.
It seemed like they were just blocking them. Are you meant to manually aim? I can't see that happening with how much they move around and throw projectiles at you.
Arrows.
Bow and arrow if my memory is correctMan, I still don't understand how to play Ninja Gaiden after all these years. How the hell do you kill the guys on horseback?

There's 34 chapters in total...I've already reached those points in the game., but I would just link those instead of put them in the post like that. Just to be safe.
By the way, I'm on chapter 25 in Uncharted: GA. How many are there total?
Did you download them from the store? If you check your download list there might be a few more. Chinatown Wars and Disgaea 1 are unavailable for download but I could do so after looking at my download history..
I thought Wipeout at 30fps was gonna bother me. It doesn't. That game is soooooooooooooooooooooo fun. Absurdly fun.
Going horribly OT here - but not if you were a Personal Computer gamer.dark10x said:You DO realize that back in the 8 and 16-bit days 99% of games ran at 60 fps, right?

I noticed now that stats arent counted if you quit the game (at least the Vita version). I usually quit when i die, so i've probably played it closer to 13-15 hours i guess.Same here, Super Stardust HD is still one of my most played games on PS3 and I think Super Stardust Delta will have the same privilege on Vita. Can't say enough good things about this game. (Also want to be PSN friends?)
640x480 generally works fine for racing games but I doubt anyone would argue against a preference for 1920x1080!
As far as I'm concerned, there is no genre where framerate matters more than racing games. Maybe FPS, but I don't play enough to be sure.
Now all I need is a Skyrim port and a GTA game announced.....
Make it happen Sony.
Ah ha, I was also into PC games back then as well and, you're right, it was pretty awful. I was always looking for games that pushed console levels of performance but they were few and far between. As impressive as games like Doom could be, I always knew that the PC would struggle to deliver a perfect 60 fps for side scrolling games even on my 486dx2/66 (which was decent by earlier 90s standards).Going horribly OT here - but not if you were a Personal Computer gamer.
8bit machines - you were lucky to see 20fps most of the time(and 5-20minute loading times). IBM PCs - even worse. Sure there were some exceptions like Amiga, but even that had a big share of low framerate games.
God I feel old now.
But I do agree with you - the reason 3d graphic acceleration was such a revelation on PC wasn't the gaudy overuse of colored lights and blurry texture filtering - it was the framerate jump from unstable 15-something to stable 60.
On topic: Does anyone know if PSN version of PSP Katamari works on Vita (it's not on official list, obviously)? I just realized that it can be mapped to dual-stick controls on Vita, so I'd gladly re-play it on there.
So, about future firmware, I believe we can all agree on the following:
1. Add folder support
2. Integrate Friends, Group Messaging, and Party. Make them separate tabs in an all-encompassing Friends app.
3. Load up the last states of the friends list while refreshing the current state. The constant "please wait" and "signing into Playstation Network" prompts are annoying and unnecessary.
I've got the PSP promotion games but I don't the option to download to my Vita, any suggestions?
I see posts on here some of them work.
No.
Better.
The only thing bothering me with the Vita (besides OLED not being much of an OLED, but yeah)... It has to happen in a future update.
Am I the only one finding Little Deviants gameplay awful? I can't control shit and always end up on a corner.
What does that even mean? The only thing bothering me with the Vita (besides OLED not being much of an OLED, but yeah)... It has to happen in a future update.
Really eh... was Sony afraid we'd forget what games we owned physical copies of? Not only does it leave a mess of game bubbles on the page I have to manage (I grabbed nine physical titles at launch because I have too much money and am overly susceptible to handheld hype - especially from Sony), but I forget what I have in the system and either try launching a bubble only to get the "insert game card" prompt, or have to pull out the card to see what's in my Vita... both problems are insta-solved if they just do the reasonable thing and hide the game bubbles when the game card is not in the system...
Lol. It seems like a very large proportion of people are buying the 3G, maybe because of the bundle?
They must appear in your download history.
Hey Guys I have a question.
I'm trying to sell my physical copy of Dynasty Warriors and buy it from PSN instead.
The thing is, is my save data stored in Dynasty Warriors physical media or on memory card? Can anyone tell me? I don't want to lose my save data. =X

Look on the case, that will tell you if the game requires a memory card or saves to the cartridge.
This is just speculation. But you'll probably have to buy the game and install it from PSN before selling the physical cart. If you remove the bubble from the home screen it's going to delete the saved data.
What are people saying about Unit 13? Because I honestly thought the demo was shit. The touch controls are exactly what I don't want out of these types of games. Also, I can tell from the dialog that the writing is going to be shit. The camera is also way to close to the back of the character for my liking.
Curious about Dragon's Crown. I know it's going to be playable on both PS3 and Vita. Does this mean we will pay for one copy and can use it on both? Seems silly to have to buy it twice.

And the battery doesn't even last 4 hours of gameplay with Flight Mode on and the brightness being on its lowest level.
I know how this is going to sound, but bear with me. IGN gave Shinobido 2 a 4.5. And other outlets are giving it less than stellar reviews as well. If I were you, I'd seriously be leaning towards Hot Shots Golf right now.

What I meant was that the color reproduction and black levels are almost worse than on my TN TFT LCD monitor. And the battery doesn't even last 4 hours of gameplay with Flight Mode on and the brightness being on its lowest level.
Unit 13 has Zipper all over it, I'm afraid.
I have confidence in more competent shooter developers.
The game is 30 dollars on the Vita and on the Playstation 3. I am not sure what more you want.
well to be fair, the actual shooting is much better than say Golden Abyss
That's fair. I'll probably get Hot Shots and Super Stardust Delta and call it a day.
Sony is promoting the Vita with MLB 12 cross play with PS3 and yet with little over a week to go for release, there is zero info on bundles, on how it all works, and on a demo. Sony marketing truly baffles me at times.

Definitely. But then there's the rest of it.
